Since the BF ad said it would be $29.99, this appears to be an excellent mistake. I was able to purchase it for $20; it is NOT, however, 2 for $25 compatible.
Hurry! I think this expires in a few hours; though I could be wrong.
myke.
EDIT: It now says $49.99, but put it in your cart to see the price.

anyone know if the game is worth it for a single player without a GBA?

I prefer the single-player mode to multiplayer, actually. It's like a graphically-enhanced, all-dungeon Link to the Past. Grab it, you won't be sorry.

Yes. Yes it is. It like the SNES or GB games as far as look goes, with a bit of WW effects. The controls are spot on, especially if you use a GBA to play it, which adds another layer to the gameply too when you fall into a lower level, it shows on your gba screen.
i love it, and i've never played it with anyone else

Yeah, would it be good if there was only one person?
Without a GBA?

I was told that, like FF Crystal Chronicles, a GBA is REQUIRED to play this game. I could be wrong, but if you order it, check the box and make sure before you unseal it.

Don't matter much to me, especially since I got 2 GBAs and 2 link connectors. :P
EDIT: Said that in my last post because, even though I have 2 GBAs and 2 link connectors, I still have to find them in the horrible jungle I call my room

Too bad www.dvdsoon.com screwed me out of this game, or I might order it now.

Nope, a GBA isn't required to play the single-player mode in Four Swords, nor is it needed for single-player Crystal Chronicles.

And it's supposed to come with the link cable! Hopefully that version shows up, definitely a good deal for ~$20 + tax shipped, thanks!

Does anyone know if this is good in-store?
TheGreat2nd

Not too sure if this is in store, maybe you could show them the page that says $20 if they ring it up at $50?
Something like price matching? Dunno, not too sure about B&M..

Thanks, OP! I ordered the game, along with a cheap pre-played game (Jumping Flash) which basically cancelled shipping costs with the cag15 and saver codes.

Glad I was able to grab it this morning, I was thinking of waiting till I got home from work. Ended up being $10 for me since I finally cashed in my $10 rebate from Wario world/1080 snowboarding. :D

well, i almost got it for $19.99. throughout the entire checkout process, the price was listed as $19.99, until i got to the very last step, the 'confirm order' page, at which point they fixed their error and updated the price to $29.99. oh well, if it does indeed come with the link cable (well, even if it doesnt, really) its a good deal, so i ordered it anyways...

The exact same thing happened to me. The CC page even still said 19.99 but I clicked ok and without saying anything the price (and my CC) was charged for the 29.99 price.
Their customer service says that the game never was 19.99 so nothing can be done.
Oh well.

Eb likes to play it off like nothing happened :P
That sucks to whoever got the price changed when in checkout.
