Enter through the green button and click on 'find property' then continue from there. You may have unclaimed money somewhere.

I went there and had $500 waiting for me. Old insurance settlement from 1993.

Is this stuff legit? Cause if it is, I looked up my parents:

My mom has $71 unclaimed, but my dad has over $1700. If this is true and legit, I may have an early birthday present to show him.

When I went to find property, it gave me the link for the Texas 'branch', and I just did a search for my parents' names. I'm guessing it's website is different from other states? Did it give you a link to the Florida 'branch'?

EDIT: When I found their names it gave a lot of info including what year it was reported, what bank, along with the amount.

You are accessing each state's treasury department website so it can't get more "true and legit" than that.

Also you can search for money that you haven't claimed in any state in which you have lived.
