Hey guys,

I heard this song recently on the radio, I believe it is a new song. It was sung by a male, it was sort of like a slow jam / R&B song, the chorus was the best part about it, it was a guy singing and all I remember in the chorus was the word "protection" (I THINK) something like.. give you my protection or give you protection.. omg I have a hard time explaining songs, but I might get lucky if someone can identify this song for me...

Doubtful, but the only song that comes to mind is one by massive attack, yet the r&b sound throws off that theory. Could be a remix.

does a dude rhyme in it? before the chorus and is it about jail. im right about sick of listening to mainstream music because of the broads at work... im not sure of the song, but if i hit the nail on the head, i know jadakiss from the lox is in it or styles g, one of them.

Doubtful, but the only song that comes to mind is one by massive attack, yet the r&b sound throws off that theory. Could be a remix. a lot of people have trouble placing Massive Attack in a particular genre so who knows? But he did say "recent" and since said Massive Attack song is over 10 years old, i doubt that is what he is referring to.

Most comparable to Tricky & Radiohead (to a lesser extent).

"locked up" is part of the chorus in that song.

You have to give us more than one word.

I believe it is a Black boy band, they somewhat sound like B2K but I don't think it's them because it is a NEW song.. that locked up song is pretty old.

Yea it is the Mario song I found that out earlier this morning. Thanks a lot though. You guys should try to download the song.. pretty cool.
