I'm waiting for Al Jazerra to show this. All I have to say is I would buy this Viper driver and his J-STARS controller all the beer they wanted.
.Video requires Windows Media Player. (http://www.esryle.com/bomb.wmv)
Classic, absolutely classic.

Where was this?
It looked to me like they were going into that big building marked "Walmart". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v485/Verewolf/Avatars%20-%202/doh.gif

Because, after all, everyone who walks down a street is a terrorist and deserves to die.

The video was from Falluja sometime in November. There were about 30 men in that group that heard an F-16 then ran out of a building towards a firefight that was going on with U.S. Marines. You don't run towards a firefight with Marines if you have a brain or are innocent.

Well, I still don't understand the concept of getting a kick out of watching people die, as much as I'd like to see osama die I wouldn't actually want to watch it. Since I don't want to watch it I'm not going to try to guess if they were actually insurgents or civilians, but I would like to know what qualifies them as terrorists. Were they killing civilians? Torturing them? Or where they simply fighting the u.s. army, which, agree with their cause or not, is not a terrorist activity? Someone explain to me how shooting a u.s. soldier would qualify me as a terrorist, since up until now I have always believed attacking a soldier made me a combatant, but then maybe I'm wrong.

Dude, don't lie. That video was shown on CNN a few months ago, a few days after it was leaked.
It was NOT during the recent Falluja battle.
And there is not a single peice of evidence to suggest whether they sere terrorists or if 30 civilians were killed for sport while running away from a battle.

If you're an enemy combantant you can still be killed under Geneva et al.
What you can't do is dress up like a civilian and THEN kill enemey soldiers.

You are right. there is no need to celebrate death in any form.

This page (admittedly not a pro-Iraqi War site) has the date for the video in April and questions whether the people killed were armed.
PAD, what's your source for claiming they were headed towards a firefight? I haven't seen that.

A few things that make them terroists. #1 their refusal to follow the laws of armed conflict set in place at the Geneva Convention. #2 the fact that they are attacking their own countrymen. They are not figthing for any nation just their own interests and the sad thing is that some of the biggest trouble makers are not even native Iraqis

This site has more in-depth reporting on the incident and it doesn mention that the Pentagon is claiming that the people were running towards a Marine firefight although it is in some dispute.

This is a video from a F16 doing CAS during the recent fighting in Fallujah. We have been bombing insurgent "safe houses" with some success recently. This F16 was on such a mission, to hit a building with an LGB (laser guided bomb) .
After the weapon had been launched 30+ insurgents left the building en masse to hurry to a nearby engagement with US Marines. The fighting had been going on for hours.
The pilot communicates with the FAC (Forward Air Controller) either in the air or on the ground, and changes the flight path of the bomb while it is en route the target. You can clearly see the "L" flashing in the MFD (Multi Function Display) , and TGP (Terminally Guided Projectile) is selected.
The high pitched "Darth Vader" sounds you hear is the pilot breathing. It is the pilot who says "I got numerous individuals on the road, do you want me to take those out?" The FAC says "Take em out!"
By the way I love it when the FAC says "Oh, Dude!" at the end of the video chip.
Now I must put this in focus for you so you can get a glimpse into the complexities of the modern battlefield and the flexibility's of the modern U.S. war fighter.
You have a super-sonic high performance aircraft being driven by a single pilot who, under the tactical control of a FAC, launches a precision guided munition (PGM) at a designated structure (building). The pilot uses the aircraft's laser guidance video display to guide the weapon to the target (precision). Remember, he is also flying the aircraft. The pilot sees the video on his heads-up display and notices a bunch of combatants leaving the targeted building, turning the corner and heading down the street towards an active firefight. The pilot advises the FAC of the change in the status of the target requesting to target the combatants en route the fire fight rather than hitting an empty building. Permission is granted and death and destruction rain down.

We probably shouldn't be talking about the geneva convention, but unless they were attacking civilians, or bombing civilian buildings because they are near civilian areas (with or without casualties, and not because they were targeting u.s. soldiers in that area), they can't rightly be called terrorist. I'd like to know where it said THESE people were attacking, or even supported attacking, their own countrymen? Many of these insurgents are not foreigners or terrorists, they're locals who believe (rightly or wrongly) they are fighting for their country. If what you say is true, Iraq would probably be the first time in history where a country was occupied and faced no legitimate, nationalist, resistance.
