Saw this on eBay. I'm thinking of getting it. Has anyone used it before? If so how is it? Or does anyone have any other recommendations?

I actually had two of those joysticks. They were alright, but the buttons don't really feel like arcade buttons. They are kinda stiff... nothing like the smooth clickiness you should get with a real arcade button. This stick was alright, but had kind of a loose feeling in my opinion. Decent joystick, but depending how anal you are about your fighting game controls, I'd recommend looking at like an X-Arcade or Slik Stick or Hori or something like that. I just have an X-arcade but there are people here who know all about custom sticks and whatnot and I'm sure they could point you to some good stuff.

My bf has two of those as well. He seems to like them (and he's very into MvC), except one of the buttons eventually became stuck and we still don't know how to fix it. He actually prefers those to the Agetec one we also have, but that might just be because the joystick vibrates :P

I have the officially licensed ASCII one (I think its ASCII.....if not, its something similar) with the green joystick, Dreamcast logo, and slots for VMUs.

It works great and I wish I could find another one.

I thought it was ASCII too for some reason, but it's apparently Agetec.

Those suck, I got one from eb back in the day and it broke, got another one and that one broke too. Get a saturn Virtua Stick and get a Saturn to DC converter and you'll be all set. It's cheaper then buying a ASCII stick.

Well, exactly what I would say about the stick. So take that from two sources.

The agetec ones are good- I think they're exactly the ones that sega sold in japan.

The enforcers are so bad that EB/Gamestop used to sell them for $10-15 back when they still sold new dreamcasts, and still they couldn't rid their stock. There's a reason these in the auction are sealed and new. There's a glut of them still lying around in dark corners of inventory rooms.

The Agetec stick is the *only* arcade stick for DC to get. One you play with it, you won't want to use any others. It's that good.
