Don't be embarrassed, it's a great game, one of the (if not the) first of it's kind. I was lucky and managed to snag a copy for the PS3 at Kmart for $30 after shipping & tax, but for deals,
Kmart (In-Store) has a deal where you buy the Starter Pack and get to pick up a free Figure for it.
TRU has a deal where you if you buy an $19.99 (Only $19.99, not $19.99+) game you can get a free Figure.
Sams Club (at least online) has the Starter Kit plus a free (Walmart/Sams Club) exclusive Drill Sergeant Figure for $64.86.
One less advertised deal is if you buy it on NewEgg with a new account, the promo code NEWCUSTOMER10 to get $10 off bringing the total to $59.99 (in addition to Free Shipping and no tax depending on your state laws).
