I've bought plenty of games on their release date for $50, but I try my best to hold off now until the price drops. Once you start getting great games for $20 or less, it's hard to go back to paying $50.

GTA: San Andreas will be an exception to that rule for me. No way I can wait one day longer than I have to for that. :)

It's not as bad as it seems... I bought Crash for the Ps2 for 10 at Target, and preordered Wade Hixton's Counter Punch and RType 3 for the GBA...which both retail at the cheapass price of $20.
