New Mercenaries demo out at EBGames B&M.

I forgot to post this earlier but I picked this up today at my local EB. Seems like a pretty fun game so far, enjoyable. It's for PS2 and it was free.

It's pretty good. Picked it up with the Punisher demo. Punisher is pretty meh, especially in the controls department (sluggish isn't even the word).

Merceneries is pretty cool, and they let you do a lot in the demo. Only problem is that it's easy to get over your head in a hurry. Lots of guys with rocket launchers, etc. Wide open gameplay is nice (steal or drive anything), and destructible environments.

And nothing is cooler than calling in an airstrike. Looking forward to seeing the final product.

yea, same thing happened to me. i've been to a few different EB's these last few weeks and none would give me a free demo. :X

Bunker Buster = coolest weapon effect ever.

It has some really good lighting effects and the explosions, like blowing the gates open and just billows of smoke for quite a while, very very cool. Was it just me, or did the control not seem that tight?

Also, when you handcuff the final guy in the demo, drop him UNDER the helicopter before it lands. The game had him disapear and warped him into a building and I picked him up through a wall. Quite cool. :)

I might pick the game up for $15 used sometime.

Sounds decent....I may have to pick it up on XBOX when it comes out. Anyone know if there is any online play?
