My A/V cable on my dreamcast just stopped working the other day. About the cheapest I could find one is around $7-9 shipped, I might as well pay an extra couple dollars and get a whole new dreamcast.

Yup, I didn't order one last time they went cheap but I got one this time and might go out and try to get another one instore. I want a couple extra to mess around with case modding in case I fuck up when I change the LED.

The only place you'll find a new Dreamcast is on Ebay...and you can expect to pay at least $115 for one.

Ebgames has an excellent track record for me. Even if I had a problem, Customer Service was great via phone and email. Tons of the 'used' stuff I order arrives new and sealed.

OK, I ordered one, plus a memory card thingy for $1.99. I had a Dreamcast several years ago when games were still being made for them, but I haven't kept up with it. What are the best games for the Dreamcast?

Its been there every day at that price for over a month... I guess it needed to be pointed out since nobody else noticed either. They've actually been selling them for $14.99 for a long time, but they always sold out in the morning until they started limiting it to 1 per customer, about a month ago.

Something else worth noting is the $1.99 "used" and "back order" rumble packs I ordered were brand new in the box and shipped immediately.

COOL!After looking at this post I decided to go look at EB Games used DC games selection.I dont need another DC.I already have 2 which gamer doesnt? :wink:

They actually have Project Justice in stock,used for the DC.The game is a bitch to find.For $50 I got:

Ahh I remember I ordered their DC.. thanks to dafoomie's morning updates ^_^. But when it came.. it was really dirty.. rust stains kind of stuff with scratches and dirty markings... but I guess that is expected outta something used. So I just return it to an EB.. and anyways it's strange.. they gave me an s-video cable.. as the video output thing..

Remember you can get the DC controllers at TRU since it is a 50% off item and I got three of them for like 1.50 each? hehe.. but probably a YMMV. So still waiting to get my DC one day..

Not true. Lik-Sang has new ones for $80, though I think the extra stuff in the Hardcore Pack warrants the extra $20. These are universally modded units.

But unless you really want a new one, you can't beat $15 for a used one at EB. And definitely check out the DC emulator and homebrew scene at sites like www.dcemu.co.uk and http://www.dcevolution.net/.

That's what I'm worrying about as well, last time I bought a used DC it was broken (I got it from Gamestop B&M though). Maybe I'll try my luck with EB.

I ordered one of these a few weeks back and when it came someone had glued glitter all over everything. the unit and controller were both tattooed with glitter on all the buttons and everywhere else it would stick.

What the hell? I just ordered one, and I'm hoping that mine wasn't owned by a little child or a slobby adult.
