With that as the case a few extra bucks isn't bad, but asking for almost $10 more? Yeah I get the market can set prices blah blah, but at the same time it is said holidays.

If I could've gotten this and picked up extra's, I would've gladly sold them at cost to just help fellow real gamers out.

$25-$30 seems reasonable...I had to go through my time and effort to get it also, was not as easy as some.

Agreed. On those rare occasions when I score extra penny guides or deals, I usually give them away, or ask for enough to cover my expenses. I probably made just as much effort as anyone here to score PS+ cards but got shut down... those who got them were just lucky. Sad that so few want to share their good fortune with others.

This used to be a community of non-wealthy folks helping each other out... now it seems like it's gone from CAG to GAG (Greedy Ass Gamer), where 50% profit isn't enough. I wish there was a way to separate the good guys from the greedy ones so I know who to take care of the next time I score a nice deal.

The whole point is to help other CAGs out, right? People selling for $25 are charging more than eBay prices, and eBay sellers get charged a fee. How does that make sense?

A) almost every closed auction within the last day is over $27 so that's not more than ebay prices. I see some as high as $29 /w shipping. B) The seller drove to the store, had to wait in line to get the cards pm'd, and drove home. Time should be worth something and gas is worth real money.

Helping out a CAG is one thing, doing it at a loss of time or income is another. If someone is upset with people asking what the cards are worth they could always drive down and get the deal themselves, go to ebay, or pay the reasonable amount someone is asking here.

My assumption would be three-fold. Stores not honoring, no targets nearby, laziness. All likely highly applicable.

My points are still valid. And it was preposterous for people to come here asking for ebay prices when ebay has fees for selling on there so you are making even less than that.

All in all between the whole semantics of it, and the technical part (ebay prices), it was incredibly absurd during that week and I think just was very off-putting as a community aspect here.
