Third Strike. It is just the most polished one.

Whats the big difference between SF Third Strike and Double Impact? They're both SF III...

If you're gonna include a game from the EX series, dont include EX3. EX 1 was the best.

I had the most fun with Alpha 1. Even though SF III 3rd Strike is probably the best, I personally enjoyed Alpha 1 more.

Running home from the busstop after school with my friends as we totally ignored our homework to play Street Fighter Alpha. I rocked with Adon.

Was SFA3 for the longest time. Now it's 3rd Strike.

Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers...at least I think that's what it was called. My favorite version.

The Ex series still feels weird to me. It just wasn't right. =P

Althoug I've probalbly put more total hours into the various versions of SFII and I really like SF III third strike, I keep coming back to Alpha 3 for some reason. Can't really say why though. . .

Alpha 3's huge character list, upgrading attributes, and 100-fighter matches put it way over the top. It's my favorite 2D fighter of all time.

I'd have to go with Alpha 3. It had an amazing pull over me for months...and the only version I had access to was the GBA port. If that's not a sign that it's a good game, I'm not sure what would be. :)

I love SF2, but something about Alpha 3 is just great. Then again, SFA3 is almost like a sequel of sorts to SF2, so maybe that would make sense...

Third Strike...cmon it has rap music! ....anyone see the final match of evolution between Daigo and Jwong? that was sick...parrying a super with no life left and then comeback and win the match is sick...

SF2 easily, specifically SF2 Turbo.

My favorite is Street Fighter II. The other versions may have been better, but SFII was amazing for its time. The game still holds up very well to this date. SFII was the first video game that I really got addicted to. It was also the first game that I played for money, and I did very well off that. So for those reasons, SFII will always be not only my favorite Street Fighter game, but my favorite fighting game of all time.

I think Alpha 3 is the best, my favorite at least, but I still have to go back and get my SFII:Turbo fix regularly.

It's all about Third Strike baby ... :)

Second favorite goes to Super Street Fighter II Turbo, and then Alpha 2 ... I didn't like Alpha 3 that much for some reason :P

You left EX1 and 2 off the list :(

nope... I just saw them at my friend's house and I liked it so much I bought my own copy since I gotta brush up. I'm rusty and plus I have no serious competition here. All my friends are pussies who only play shooters or games that can be quickly finished so I have no one to play with.

I'm just waiting for 3rd Strike on xbox w/live ..... why does Capcom take so long on these xbox ports?

I'm still ticked off about no live support in MvC2 ... unacceptable

3rd Strike is amazing. Great animation, a great soundtrack and solid, balanced gameplay make it the best 2D fighter ever made, in my opinion. Hyper Street Fighter II is a lot of fun as well. Can't wait for the Anniversary Collection to finally hit the Xbox.

SNES had several versions. It also had Alpha 2 on it I believe.
