Anything involving Dr. Sears is going to be a little fringe and weird.
I've tried goat milk out of a drink box, no less. Not good.

mmm... nothing like the supple milk from a goat's nipple.... mmm
Just seeing that topic, "Free goat milk," made me smile when I really needed to. Thanks.

I used to raise dairy goats for fun and profit.
The milk can really range in taste. Nubian is really heavy on the butterfat and is sweet. Milk from the swiss Toggenberg types is more bitter, usually, but less fat. We usually blended ours.
But in general, goats milk is a lot better for you than cows milk. When my son was born, and we needed to start supplementing breast milk with formula, (I forget why, my wife was on medication or something) we couldn't find one he was not violently allergic to. Even the really expensive hypo-allergenic weird crap. No soy, nothin worked.
So I went to a friend who was still raising goats and got some goats milk and pasteurized it, and it worked like magic.
I used to drink a half-gallon of the stuff a day, maybe more, back in high school.
Can't beat it!

I had neighbors that used to raise goats and they milked them and ate them even.. they were a bit eccentric, but hey, whatever floats your boat..

Yeah same here.
On a side note has anyone tried soy milk? I actually like it quite a bit, the vanilla flavored stuff is great. I normally don't like cow's milk except on cereal but vanilla soy milk I will drink straight from the carton.

I dunno why people are weirded out by goat's milk. I admit I've never had it but it doesn't bring disgust to me. It just happens to be another animal's milk. Doesn't make it any different from cow's milk except probably in texture or taste. I'd give it a go given a chance. I'm fairly adventurous trying out new foods.

like me, my grandma is lactose intollerant. She drinks soy milk and loves it. I've never worked up the nerve to try it myself..
oh, and this quote is missing from the thread :) :
Greg Focker: "So I grabbed the... thee... uh thee... 'teet'....
Jack Brynes: "Teet?"
Greg Focker: "Yea, and I just... hmm.. into a little saucer and fed it to Jepeto... thats' what I named him."
Dina Byrnes: "Oh I had no idea you could milk a cat..."
Greg Focker: "Oh, yea you can milk a cat, you can milk anything with nipples."
Jack Byrnes: "I have nipples Greg... Can you milk me?"
