I got these from work for 10$ a piece, since they were green tagged, and we had both in the store room at toys r us. I never seen so many calls for this game over the past weeks, since I work their(over a year)

Ive played the demo and couldnt even muster the energy to beat it. Its slow,you shoot water at fire, the "boss fire" has a health bar and thats pretty much your boss. Thats about it

There's got to be a better way to honor our fire fighters,not disgrace them with this piece of shite!

Rarity isn't determined by quality necessarialy. A game can be rare and still suck. What drives the price up is a low print run and a demand for the game, which there is somewhat a demand for this game even if it sucks, people still want it for some reason.

I actually own the game and think it is a very cool game. I know it sounds cheesey with "boss fires" and everything but the gameplay is pretty solid and it is a very cool change of pace to try to help and save people instead of always killing them (which I do enjoy :twisted: ).

The fire effects, explosions and backdrafts and just incredible. The only thing is that it is a short game, probably no longer thatn 8 hours to complete for the average gamer.

I wanted to try this one out when it dropped in price, but I haven't seen it around here anywhere. I would definitely try it out for $10, but I'm not anywhere near interested enough to pay those insane Ebay prices for it. ;)

You just described me exactly. I saw this game 2 months ago at Blockbuster for $22. I passed on it. Then I saw a topic about it and had to have it, and went back to the same Blockbuster I saw it at, and thankfully even though they redid the whole game section, the game was still there behind a bunch of other games. Gotta love small towns.

there's also a copy of it at my work going for 24.99. i rented it to see what it was like....blechhhh. i think i'll pass on trying to make profit and just let this title sink farther and farther down the PPG game shelves.
