Yeah yeah, I know some will think it's gay. Me I think it is hilarious, especially the first 2-3 weeks with all the bad singers.....nothing has beat last years "Like a Virgin", but let's hear "Sweet Home Alabama" in a few

I think the people who are really bad, get paid to make fools of themselves.

yes they get paid i have a friend that went to an audition. some of the rejected ones are offered money to look like fools on camera. so basically some of what you see are acts. they been rejected earlier on but paid to come back to look like jack a$$

After swearing myself never to watch reality TV again after For Love or Money, I has disavowed any knowledge of this thing you call "American Idol". It sounds ridiculous.

Yeah like the guy that threw the water on Simon, he seemed to just be smiling the whole time...sort of like he knew what was gonna happen. So I believe you when they say some get paid to look like jack ass...I still think it's funny.
Another thing that people mentioned is how is it that these people think they are great, and sound like a cat getting ran over. Well My wife has this book and she showed it to me, so they do hear themselves sing like great artists. I mean have you ever heard yourself in a tape recorder and wonder..."Who the hell is that guy/girl?" I know I have.
Sorry about the official thing, didn't really think it would matter any, but whatever. At least they pointed out nicely by saying it's lame...yep no way nicer to say to change it.
Thanks WSB to point out that this is in fact a thread that belongs in Off Topic, and not just games and cheap ass lifestyles.
Mr. Anderson, thank you for joining us....anyways tv good :) besides Fox got another show that I think is will be a hit and that's My Big Fat Obxnoisious (I suck at spelling that) Fiance.

Well since I saw it on the other thread. Did anyone laugh any harder after seeing that guy singing that
Ricky Martin song? He's all smiling and happy and even says he never had a day of training to sing. He wasn't as bad as the guy who sang "Like a Virgin" last year, he was all pissy. This guy kind of made me feel bad, but I did laugh...a lot...man I feel bad...wait

Of coarse there's an incentive---how else would the horrible people make it past the screening at the stadium. I like this type of music, among many other types, so I really love American Idol--tons of good talent. Simon makes the show, though.

Yeah the poor kid. He was really good about it!
Honestly the only good part of the show IS the auditions! My favorite of the "baddies" is when they suck, and they keep singing their song, or start singing other songs. I can't stop laughing at them! :lol:
The best part this year was when both Randy and Simon walked out (Paula was sick) and the fool kept singing with an empty room.
