Is a horrible game. Why would Sega want me to relize this in the Mega Collections? I mean,Sega didn't even develop it. Things like this make me sad.

I like Sonic 3D Blast.

So did I. Not as good as 1-3, but I liked it. Of course, I also liked Sonic Spinball.

I liked Sonic 3D Blast, or at least I had fond memories of it. It was the hyped big premier of the Hedgehog on the Saturn. I thought the graphics were good and the gameplay different yet enjoyable. I especially liked the music, very well done.

What I DIDN'T like, was that the Saturn version had NO SAVE POINTS. NOWHERE. I would stock up about 13 lives over the course of playing three hours straight just to get to the final boss, where I would subsequently drain them all off in about five minutes. And once those lives were gone, it was game over buddy. Start over from the very beginning. Do not pass go, do not collect $100.

I haven't cracked open the Mega Collection Plus yet to find out which version they included - the Saturn or the Genesis. It's probably wishful thinking for them to have put a level select or save points in the game, which would have made it exponentially better.

It was "meh" if you ask me. Not total crap, but it couldn't hold a candle to the original three.

I hated 3-D blast...for many resons.

I had just gotten my N64 at that time, and rented 3-D Blast on Genesis, to see how the last sonic game was...trying to be 3-D to compete with the new age...I was interested. Well, it was definitely not truly 3-D, the traction sucked, the game semi-"froze" every few seconds...and it made me sad that the Genesis ended on that note.

I had it for the Saturn and have no desire to ever play it on Sonic Mega Collection (where they use the Genesis version). I never beat the game because I completely lost interest and didn't see the point of it. It's not like it was horrible, it was just there. It's funny that Sega went through all the trouble to make a 3d Sonic (that showed huge potential at the time) to navigate through Sonic Jam, but what we're stuck with is Marble Madness Sonic without the fun.

I absolutely loved sonic 3d blast. You could even say it was a blast to play. Ok bad pun. I enjoyed every bit of including the excellent music.

Why, why was Sonic X-treme cancelled?!!! \
That looked to be the best Sonic game ever made(and probably would have been too) but they canned that and threw that steam pile that was Sonic 3D blast. Ugh....

I think the engine was used for Sonic R, which didn't turn out to be that bad of a game.

I love Sonic 3D Blast on the Sega Saturn! The graphics were nice, the music was great and the special stages remind me a lot of Sonic the Hedgehog 2's special stages!...:D

You collect $200 for passing Go. Sorry, couldn't resist :)

If it has Sonic on it than it will sell, and I remember actually liking that game.
