Not a bad price tag for a pretty cool hockey game made for new gen. systems. The price in the subject header refers to the GameCube version. Not sure if there is much of a difference in PS2/Xbox play, but either way, i'd say it's well worth it to play around with friends and what not.

edit: I went in to purchase a couple more to send out and they had covered over the 1.99 price tag back with a brand new 14.99 :?

One good thing about this game on GC, is you can use the D-pad to move your player, unlike in the 2003 version.

hmm... nhl hitz 2002 or a medium fries and a junior bacon off the dollar menu at wendy's... i'm not really hungry, but I pick the dollar menu.

poor decision, Hitz is an excellent arcade style hockey game. I just bought the 2003 version, but for 2$ I might as well re-live my glory days with 2002 also.

No good decision, in fact it shouldn't have been that difficult, I already have NHL 2004, I understand that Hitz is a different breed of hockey, but you must understand how much food it takes to feed a horse.

If I see this, I'll definately pick it up for the price. Thanks OP. I wish it were online, though.

I don't like ice hockey (I infact HATE ice hockey) but I sort of liked NHL 95 for the SNES, so I might actually buy this.

Please?

Hitz 20-02 is definitely one of the best next-gen hockey games, although after playing the GC and XB versions, I have to say that the XB version controls better.

Yeah, I was almost done with my purchase, I just had to hand him money but I noticed that my final price was 16 something instead of 2 something.
