Halo 2 CE?

Hey I'm finally gonna pick up a copy of Halo 2 but I'm unsure whether or not ot pick up the Collector's Edition. Can anyone tell me what's/who's on it and whether or not it worth it? Or possibly refer me to a link that does? Normally I'd pay the extra $5 for it but it's always 41.99 with free shipping at mtv.com so that's why I'm torn between the two.

I've personally only watched about 15 minutes of the bonus DVD. I'm still happy with my purchase simly for the metal case, it just looks cool when put in with my other games.

i didnt see much of a difference but the case (u DO get a coupon for a buy one get free green slurpee at 7-11) , but other than that, i'd stick with the normal version

Short answer = YES, it is worth the extra $13. I wasn't a fan of the first Halo and I loved Halo 2 and was glad I got the LE version. Go for it.

walmart B&M has the LE for the same price as the regular edition so you can get it for 49.odd walmart cents instead of 54.99.

Gamer first and if you're hardcore, you'll want the LE. Just wait until after Christmas, return that ugly ass sweater you got and use the $$ towards Halo LE.

Just to confirm... the CE fits fine in dvd racks. Its the same size.. but much heavier.

The manual is different, the DVD explains why the game isnt what everyone was expecting it to be after E3, and the case is freakin sweet.

check your local Best Buy... i'm sure its YMMV, but since the item is what we call "at risk" (no more being shipped, basically discountinued) my store is selling it for 54.99 with an automatic $10 off.. so your total would only be 44.99, and if you can find a nice cashier, use a GGC and make it $39.99. this is of course YMMV because im not sure if any other BB have this same $10 off game selection the one i work at has... good luck!

You know, I didn't think of it as "discontinued", but it really is. It's just weird because there were so many available at launch, but it's interesting to see it become somewhat hard to find in the stores. I mean, it's readily available on the net, but you may have to look a little to find it at a B&M.

I have the regular one, i also got it for free because i won it at my Gamerush's Halo 2 party. I returned my LE version for store credit. You'll only play the game thought so it's how much is the case worth to you.
