someone online said that the stories are the same in some parts. Are there any different levels or areas that wern't in the xbox version or is the xbox version an exact remake of the dreamcast game?

The Xbox game is a sequel. If you really liked JSRF, you'll enjoy Jet Grind Radio. I actually liked Jet Grind Radio more.

Same. The graffiti is way more fun in JGR.

I liked Jet Grind Radio a lot more than Jet Set Radio Future, JSRF seemed much easier to me.

Like most, I enjoyed the original more than the X-Box version.

I have to agree with the general consensus. Jet Grind Radio was better than Jet Set Radio Future in terms of gameplay mechanics (even though they are similiar, JGR has a better grafiti system) and music. The graphics aren't too different.

I got my DC particularly for JGR. However, I liked JSRF a bit more because it was a easier...I'm a wuss.

Was Jet Set Radio Future a sequel or a remake? I recall Beat not evening knowing who Gum was at one point in the game.

A sequel but not a direct sequel... Not at all a remake of the original either. Think of it as a sequel that doesn't necessarily relate directly to what happened in the first one, but has the same characters. I think the 2nd one is set more in the future, too (hence the name, JSR Future).

This a no brainer . . . you can get the Jet Set/GT 2002 double pack for $6 at EBgames . . . (add CAG15 and SAVER coupon codes to get the game for about $5 shipped free). This was the pack-in with the Xbox 2 years ago.

$5 to add two good games to your collection. BTW EBGames.com makes sure the game is complete with case and instructions!

You can get a brand new Jet Grind Radio pretty cheap, it was a very common game... Defender has it for $7.99 on his site new, you might be able to do a little better though.
