Most of those aren't rare or even hard to find. You might have a somewhat difficult time finding Thunder & Lightning, Adventure Island III and Toki. The other ones are either common (Bubble Bobble, Adventure Island) or uncommon at most. Now if you did actually get Bubble Bobble 2, that is a rare one (and I'd be envious as a NES collector! :))

Yeah, Kid Icarus actually sold quite well from what I remember. The only reason it's so expensive now is that it's highly sought after (like Super Metroid).

Is there an official NES game rarity guide out there? The game store I frequent uses their own homebrew guide but it's based on the frequency of how many of said "X" game is traded in.

ok there are different levels of rarity. I listed some of the harder to find games that i own, not games that are in fact RARE so ya better be in awe cause i got em and u don't. come on i know some of those are easier to find than others but not in all parts of the world, especially where i live anyways. kidicarus however i will agree is pretty easy to find somewhat. but the others will be a little harder to find. Not extremely hard to find, but I do know thunder and lightning is rare and you wont be able to find it anywhere else but ebay usually...

Kid Icarus does not suck.. it is awesome, IMO and it is the perfect blend of the platforming of Super Mario Brothers and the dungeons of Zelda. EGGPLANT WIZARDS RULE!!!

Hey (OP) since you seem to be such a big fan of the NES, have you heard about the wireless NES controllers from Messiah?
I just got a set for X-mas and they work as well as Wavebirds on Gamecube (AMAZINGLY WELL).
Check 'em out here:

Very nice. How many do you have? I've got ~740 (not counting doubles) but no picture of them. I guess sometime I'll have to borrow a digital camera or something. They fill up an entire 7-foot metal cabinet!

Over a thousand if you count label variations, evil pirated chinese/hong kong/brazillian bootlegs, and other one of a kind type things like prototypes and stuff I don't care to mention here.
And my IGN list isn't complete. I seemed to have missed a couple shelves when I was entering them in yesterday.
@TomCloud9: Your link to your IGN list will point to everyone else's list when they click it. It should be collections/your IGN name.

Wow. Can you at least tell us what prototypes you have? Anything unreleased?

Anything unreleased?
No. But I do have some weird things. The most odd thing in my NES collection is an American version of Nuts & Milk. Which is odd because it never came out in the states. No label, but it's in a standard American NES cart, and it has no eproms. Not unreleased, per say, as it is quite common outside the US. I found it at a swap meet in Vancouver, WA.
