Regarding GameCrazy's B2G1 deal this weekend..

Someone said it was just on classic games. I went yesterday and saw the manager taking out a bunch of games.. I asked him what he was doing and he said that he was pulling games for the 2 for 1 sale.. I asked to see the list, and it was full of GC, PS2 and XBox games. Off the top of my head, I remember Silent Hill 4 ($31.99), Futurama ($23.99), The Guy Game ($who.cares), Catwoman, and a ton of other older XBox games.. sorry if this has been posted. I think the B2G1 has been posted, but it was said it was for "classic" games..

that's kind of odd, cause i called them yesterday, and they said it was on classics only. then i asked about the current gen console games, and the store rep said current gen console games are not part of the promo. (this promo needs to be verified, so we don't waste people's time, and gamecrazy needs to get their stories/promos straight)

alright i just called my local gamecrazy, there is indeed a b2g1 for current-gen systems, but besides silent hill 4 it seems everything else is sheer crap (crap the likes of mace griffin, looney tunes, etc.). they did say the list was long and they didn't have a lot of the titles, but this doesn't seem like something to go out of your way for based on the games he listed off for me.

Hey, Futurama's in the sale, it can't be too bad. I might pick it up for $20. Is it worth it? It seems to be getting harder to find, as well.

it's definitely not worth $20, relative for a CAG. it's a decent game, but wait for it to be $5 again at CC.

I didn't think it was worth posting as from what I saw, most of it is just crap like Catwoman and Bionicle GCN (maybe good for kids presents as I saw some mom come in there and buy 9 games). Just a reminder to all out there but they still have their classic BOGO going on today, so if you want some stuff pick it up.

well, i guess go for it if you're collecting soon-to-be-rare games and can't find it cheaper elsewhere, i'm just saying pound-for-pound, gameplay-wise it's not worth more than $5.

I know that my Fry's has probably 20-25 of Futurama. I never thought it was that rare.

B2G1 on classic games? No, that's the B1G1 deal on classic games. I went up there today to look around and employee seemed bored working on christmas day and explained the B2G1 sale was on current gen. games.

My store had a pretty good selection for the B1G1 deal especially PSOne games that were complete, Alundra for $15, Chrono Cross & Final Fantasy Origins for $10 each, Suikoden 1 & 2 for $30 each.

i will probally go tomorrow and look around. I got some coupons books from buyijng systems. The only coupon i will use out of the whole book is 5 bucks off Used Ps2 and gamecube memory cards. They sell memory cards for 7.99 used (251 GC) so 3 bucks for a used card you cant be it for back up

The discs were scratched to hell. I also found a used copy of "Intelligent Qube", mint and complete for $30. I called up CAG'er 'guessed' and I let him get it, since he had been searching for it for years.

Intelligent Qube mint and complete for $30 is quite a find. That game kicks my ass so hard every time I play it.
