I got one of these for Christmas but I'm a bit worried about third party controllers. Do they work well? How are they?

I like them but it's all down to preference. I'm usually against third party controllers...I don't think I've ever reccomended any of them to a customer other than the new logitech...AND the retrocon.

It's responsive and suprisingly comfortable..only questionable part might be the L/R buttuns which are now only 2 buttons instead of 4.

It's a cool little controller, I haven't broken it yet, so that must be a good thing. The D-pad is nice, buttons are okay, and the analog sticks work but they're a little strange (and small).

I would keep it just because it looks so cool especially when you use it (it lights up).

I like it, especially for the $10 I paid for it. It's a good controller and just takes a little getting used to and it's fine. I'd recommend it to those that want a cool controller.

I very rarely buy third-party controllers, but I had to have one of these - got one when they first came out. They are small and take some time to get used to. I feel like the analog stick might break at some point (it sometimes makes a clicking noise) but overall its a decent controller. Not something you would want to use all the time, but its good for certain NES-type games. Plus the light-up feature is kind of nice.

Overall, I'd give it a B-

I got one of these for Xmas, and haven't broke the package yet. I think it would be cool as a 2nd or 3rd controller or to use with older simplier games.

I bought one around the time they came out, and I was highly disappointed. While it looked great and worked just as well, after two months, the thing was broken; the analog stick acting as if "right" was being pressed at all times.

I'm very careful with my controllers, so I have no idea why, all of a sudden, the controller stopped working. I'd hold onto all of the warranty stuff if I were you.
