Happy New Year!

Here's the entertainment software listings from the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Los Angeles/Orange County (LA), San Jose/Silicon Valley (SJ), and Washington state (WA) Fry's Ad(s). These prices are valid only for the dates listed in the subject line.

The items listed below are as they appear in the Fry's Ads. If an item is listed as "SJ only", for example, it could still be on sale at other locations (i.e. - San Diego, Sacramento, Austin, Houston, NV, AZ, OR, IL, GA), but it only appeared in the SJ ad. We have noticed that the Dallas Morning News and SJ Mercury News often run very similar ads. Also, the Chicago ads are often similar to the Seattle ads. However, since these ads are not available online, I cannot confirm them.

If anyone knows of a website to view any further ads, please let me know.

The 20% off coupon came in that Madden 2005 coupon book that BB had on their rungs since August. I picked up a bunch of them (don't worry I didn't hoard or anything as they probably had 5000 of them) and they came with a bunch of $5 off coupons on games, one $2 off coupon on c.ds 9.99 and higher and the 20% off coupon on dvds. What was even better was that the 20% off coupon could be used up to three times on the same transaction. What was strange though was that on it, the expiration date was sometime in March when the book came out in August but they still let it slide, so I guess they must hav eunderstood it was a misprint. The whole book though was supposed to have espired on December 31 but I guess you could still try the coupon to see if it will work if you can find anymore. All of the BBs around me ran out of them 3 weeks before Christmas. Also the first week that the Simpsons season 5 was out, BB had it for 29.99 the same for Fry's but Fry's kept it at that price for 2 weeks I believe so you had your chance to get it.

Thanks for the info. I guess seeing as how they were supposed to expire last year, and they probably got hoarded during Christmas, I'll just hope it goes on sale again somewhere good. Maybe I'll go look for DVD rainchecks or something.
