you could write about how jackson was a general rather than this presidential career. he led his army and defeated the british at the battle of new orleans i think. we was remerbered for introducing the spoils system to the US. you could write a whole paper concerning that and how it impacted the US.

He had an ongoing fued with the bank after losing a lot of money when a bank failed. When he was president he would not pass the bank bill of 1836 and pretty much waged war on the banking institutition (which is the reason it is ironic he is on the 20 dollar bill)

Jackson took the shot in the chest and two of his ribs were broken, but he didn't fall. Dickinson then had to stand on mark and watch as Jackson fired his shot into him. Dickinson was killed, and Jackson carried the wound the rest of his life.

While he wasn't a great president, he was an amazing general. When Jackson lost his arm at (I don't remember which battle), General Lee said that he lost his arm too, in that Jackson was his right-hand man and most trusted soldier.

I concur. Paying people to do your work for you isn't a habit to get into, be it your friend (yeah, right), yourself, or anyone else. I'm surprised how many of you guys are justifying something like this with "Well, everyone else does it."

Now, There is no way in hell I'm gonna give some HS student a college paper that received a 98. I will, however give you some pointers on what to write about.

1) Jackson's mysterious youth and his true upbringing. Little is known about this period of Jackson's life, so filling a page with useless banter should be no problem.

2) Jackson's education and his early days as a prosecutor.

3) Jackson's near bankruptcy on a massive land deal in Memphis (do to a unreliable business partner), and his subsequent rebound (which took 20 years).

4) His non-monumental presidency.

5) His conflicting role in history (do some research on his dealings with Native Americans, and the view that many Historians have about his overall demeanor)

Good luck to you and your friend with this paper, and in the future don’t procrastinate. Then dont expect $20 to get you out of your promises.
