That's right, for one penny you can get the EA Gamers pack from Best Buy which includes the highly rated Freedom Force and C&C: Renegade. Can't get much more cheap ass than that. It's sold out online. However, check your area Best Buy to see if they have any in stock and reserve it.

I was trowling some states. I know the King of Prussa BB in Lancaster PA still has some in stock. Too far away for me but someone in Philly might pick it up. I found three BB's in Conneticut that still had it in stock. Make sure to print out the web page and pick up your penny games!

The box also Includes Need for Speed III. I'm not into racing games, so I thought it might be a crappy ad on. But it looks like it got even better scores on Gamespot than FF and C&C:R. Here's their quote for NfS III.

"Not only is the latest Need for Speed miles ahead of the last NFS game, but it approaches (and dare I say surpasses?), the best of the consoles in terms of sheer fun and speed"

I'll have to hit my local BB's to see if they have this. Not going to drive an hour to King of Prussia. It's not worth the gas.

I just tried store availability again. When I tried it an hour ago, it said the gamers pack was only available in King of Prussa. Now it's saying it's available in all the DE stores. Zip Code 19702. It may be a trap... I'll have to check the local BB first thing tomorrow morning.

Argh! When I first checked, it said there was one available in Chico, CA. It didn't go in the cart, and now the store is crossed off and the closest is in Redding (about 1 hr away). It won't let me reserve that one either, but the store isn't crossed off. I might have to take a field trip tomorrow

Checked the BB on Kirkwood Hwy and 202, no luck.

In other news, stopped by the Super Target on 202. They never have any deals there since they're a super target and there are few around this way. They have such huge traffic that everything is always picked over. I'd rather have five small targets around the area then one super target.

But, suprise, suprise, found a deal. They had a copy of XIII red stickered for clearance at $10. Didn't get the best review, but not bad for $10. It did ring up for $15 at the register, so YMMV. But becaus of the sticker I was able to talk it back down to $10.
