What games did everyone get for Christmas?

Sorry if there's another one of these, but I didn't see one so...

what did you all get for Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate?

I ended up getting three Mario games in three days...

On Christmas Eve my wife's sister and her husband gave me Paper Mario. Christmas morning I got Mario Power Tennis from my wife. Later that afternoon I got a DS from my parents. I didn't get any games for it, but the day after Christmas my wife and her sister went shopping and I had her pick up Super Mario 64 DS.

Nobody buys me games for Christmas. They know if I want something, I'll just get it. It's usually that way with DVDs, too, though this year I held off buying some that I wanted on the off chance that someone got them for me off my list. Only got one.

I'm not Christian but I got money for Channukah and my mom gave me a nice sweater for New Years.

Folks got me Knights of the Old Republic II , then I bought myself Prince of Persia 2 and Bloodrayne 2 which wraps up all the games I wanted over the holiday but didn't get.

Got my brother KOTOR2 and LOTR: 3rd Age.. Received Mafia, Tron 2.0, Driv3r (loved this game but got rid of it before it went on sale), Ghost Recon 2 (yay for K-Mart!), The Suffering, and Van Helsing (I love how it's DMC-ish.. I actually like it). The Gamefly sale was posted, so then I bought Manhunt, Red Dead Revolver, Full Spectrum Warrior, Outlaw Golf 2, 007 Everything or Nothing, and Rallisport Challenge 2.

I only received one game. Thankfully, I am enjoying it very much: La Pucelle! I would've skipped it in favor of only picking up Phantom Brave after having liked Disgaea, so I'm glad I didn't miss this title. :D

[edit: whoops, I forgot I also received HalfLife 2. I'm afraid to install it on my woebegone Athlon 1500+ system. T'will bring my computer to its silicon knees, begging for more framerate. :oops: ]

I gave: Half-Life 2, Doom 3, Call of Duty expansion (name escapes me at the moment) to my boyfriend, and a bunch of master system games for my mom (she's almost refused to move on to other consoles since I was little, except with a few bouts with a Genesis and a Saturn, haha).

My gave me Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, Mr. Driller: Drill Spirits, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and Onimusha 3. Boyfriend gave me World of Warcraft, which I've been addicted to since. :)

And I just used the last bit of my Christmas money to order some Xbox games off the retail site. :)

Don't be envious! A lot of the stuff most of us received seems to have been bought with money that we received as gifts from various people!! I got three games as gifts and the rest I bought myself, and it seems like that's how it was for others here too!

Oh and plus, you got San Andreas, which, from what it seems, is like eight games in one... :D

I forgot to mention that most of the games my wife got me were used. Hastings had a sale where if you bought two used games, you'd get the third one for $0.01. But they are all complete and in good condition, so I won't complain about my wife being a cheap ass! :lol:

Lol I dont really get games for christmas cause I buy my own games working for EB so no one thinks to get me games. I did get a 27 inch flat screen tv for my room though :) I bought myself a sega genesis and a regular NES with 20 games a piece and 2 controllers (plus a light gun) all for 20$ Heh some customer was going to trade it in but I quickly arranged for a meeting outside the store.
