Yea, wow. That look's pretty sweet. The joystick thing is bat-shaped, like in the arcades too! I have some cheapo joystick w/ a ball on top. I, too, need a job.

it looks pretty cool, I hope they run a deal on it. The box it comes in is also really nice. I wonder how the build quality is.

Street Fighter Anniversary Collection is coming out soon for Xbox, with Live capability. March, maybe? In the meantime, there's Capcom vs. SNK EO, or if you can find it, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, both for Xbox.

how cheap are they?

Best price I could find on Capcom vs. SNK EO 2 was $26.99 pre-owned on ebgames.com:

Me so linky, you click me long time. (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/229957.asp)

They are currently running BOGO 50% off on pre-owned games, so this might be a viable option.

unless you're fan enough to play street fighter with a GOOD stick. it looks nice and all, but this thing is built like shit. but then again, only 60 bucks.

but if you want good cheaper sticks, go hori

....right. The same game's on Exhibition Disc 2; just not in English or with Live or save options. It does have Vs modes. Last I checked, my CC was selling these bundled with the Halo Fan Disc (Brute Force Pre-order) for $0.01

I bought the larger version of that stick a few months back, the "universal" one - only it isn't universal, because they don't make a Xbox extension cable that will work with it. Combine that with the fact that the GC isn't exactly a haven for fighters, and I bought a PS2 fighter stick. :| I'd trade out for this one in a heartbeat, if I thought I could get even half of what I paid for the Pelican stick in store credit.

You mean the scholars that post "reviews" on ebgames.com aren't credible?

I don't know...a lot of people said the Street Fighter Gamepads Nuby game out with were awful but they were the closest to the old Genesis pads that I have ever played with which I felt were the best Street Fighter Controllers. I can't even explain the joy in playing with those compared to the Dual Shock Controllers. Obviously most people prefer an arcade stick for fighters. I don't mind using the gamepads. I think this looks pretty sweet. The price isn't too bad either. Obviously people will bash on this stick but I don't know how warranted it really is. I wish I could try it out before buying it.

I played more SF at home than in arcades, i prefer the Genny pad or SFa controllers. That said, a nice arcade stick is never out of the equation. I love my DC arcade stick more than any other controller.

I got the one we got at work. It comes in a really nice display case, with a 50 inch poster also included.

So far i've been playing a blast playing MvC 2 with it. Can't wait for Street Fighter Anniversary Collection in March.

the guts are by some generic no name crap company, NOT Happs as previously stated by Nuby

its not even made by Nuby, they licensed it out to some no name comapny

go get the Pelican's and swap out the buttons for Happs (don think Sanwa's would fit)

heh, those ebgames.com reviews might as well be posts on a message board. And I broke down and bought the stick. I love it so far even though I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert on joysticks.
