My first RPG was Skies of Arcadia (for Dreamcast).

I've never played FF7 (I recently started the game... seems pretty cool, but I have to much to play currently)

I traded in PowerStone, PowerStone 2, and Shenmue.

My friend gave me a copy of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (on CD-R). I still have it, and dont plan on buying the "real" one. Only pirated game I've ever owned.

here's mine, i left console gaming for several years before the dreamcast and n64 era due to other interests; <--riding. so i missed out on a lot, but during that time i was still gaming on pc. i only returned to console gaming after stumbling across a store display of Metroid Prime at Target; since then i've accumulated 139 GC games. :? <--thanks CAG!

I'm not a big fan of rpg's but I usually buy Final Fantasy games for the stunnin FMV's. I just finally beat X-2 the other day. The only time I would buy them is when I can find them cheap.

My friend who has collected every single Final Fantasy game which all is still sealed up new but never even till this day ever played any Final Fantasy before. What a waste of money.

i can't hang with megaman... but the NES ones have my most favorite video game music ever.

I hate every Final Fantasy game.

I have never played any of the Jak, Ratchet & Clank, Sly Cooper, or Devil May Cry series, although I own a couple games from some of those series!

I paid full price for The Guy Game and BMXXXX thinking they would be pulled and become rare...

I own two copies of E.T. on the Atari 2600. (Considered by many, including myself, to be the worst game ever.)

I will never let any of my friends borrow any of my CD/DVD based games, because I am very anal about my pristine collection.

I played about an hour of Metal Gear Solid 2, and never played again...

I own GTA III and Vice City, and will never complete either of them. I completed GTA 2...

I have beaten every Mario based game I own, including Mario's Time Machine!

That is all that I could think of right now... That actually felt pretty good...

My original hate towards EA stemmed from jealousy of their PS2-favoring.

Fellow Dreamcast owner from when it was first launched?

As for my confession, I guess it would have to be my Mortal Kombat nerdiness back in the MK2-MK4 era. I made a webpage, wrote a FAQ, and even bought Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero.

I've since lost interest in the series: I bought MK:DA in the CAG-exclusive deal with Gamestop (buy Midway Arcade Treasures, get MK:DA free) and played it for a couple hours, but haven't touched it since then. I don't think I'll be getting MK: Deception.

- I've owned pristine copies of Snatcher, Lunar: Silver Star, and Lunar: Eternal Blue, Vay, and Popful Mail for Sega CD and traded them all.

- I haven't really been into the 3D Zelda games. I played halfway through Ocarina, never touched Majora, and played 3 hours tops of Wind Waker. I also dislike Zelda II.

- I hate the original Metal Gear on NES -- which I had to do a strategy guide on for Classic GI.

- I never liked Castlevania before Symphony of the Night.

- I own a bunch of Japan import wrestling games, though I never play them (Virtual Pro 2 for N64 being the lone exception).

- In my Kirby's Dream Course classic strategy guide in Game Informer, you can see either a lewd, big breasted avatar or one that portrays a butt pooping in some screenshots, and I purposely misspelled the character Krako's name to Krakho once (couldn't find the issue after some digging, unfortunately).

You're dead to me now, ViolentLee. Getting rid of Snatcher? SHAME ON YOU.

The only Silent Hill i've beaten is the first one.

I've never beaten any Resident Evil games, except for the second one.

I've never beated Final Fantasy games, except for the first one.

I think the camera in Ninja Gaiden sucks, and I refuse to play it often.

I've never been a fan of Castlevania.

My brother has a gamertag in MGS2. I take joy in torturing his soldier.

I've never played FFVII - The block hands annoy me.

I have a TON of XBox games.. yet I rarely ever sit down for long gaming sessions.

I hate talking on XBox Live. I'm not sure why.

I'm so freaking anal about the games I buy, they MUST be in perfect condition, I also refuse to loan out my games to even my closest friends.

But on a bigger note I'm a CAG now so I feel like a true cheap ass at times, no one else I know can quite relate :(

I also bought Half-Life 2 when it came out and have yet to start HL2.

The worst gaming purchase I have ever made was Star Wars Galaxies for 49.99 which to this very day I still can't trade or resell.

God I keep thinking of more !

I think Metal Gear Solid 2 is probably the best game ever made, right up there with Street Fighter II and Super Metroid. I do not think I have beaten any game more times than that one. I also own both the Substance and Sons of Liberty guide and have all three versions of Substance.

You know, I'm reading over this thread, and I have done so many of these things...

1. I too paid 39.99 for Britney's Dance Beat
2. I bought DOA:Xtreme Beach Volleyball at full price
3. I hate Halo, yet I own Halo 2 Collector's Edition
4. The first RPG I played was FF7
5. I haven't completed a Final Fantasy game either, though I've played most of them.
6. I emulate as well
7. I bought PGR and SHREK on xBox release day. as well as DoA 3
8. I many games for systems I don't currently have.
9. I got my NES when I was about 6 as well, took me many years to beat mario too.
10. I participated only once in an OTT
11. I can't beat The Adventures Of Link either, I've tried many times.
12. I'm a sucker for Hamtaro too, and Pokemon. kawaaiiiiii!!!!
13. I hate the xbox too, I use it solely as a DVD player, and I have 2 xboxes and over 50 games for it.
14. I got to the end, but never actually completed FFVII either, still haunts me to this day.
15. I paid full price for BMX XXX ON RELEASE DAY!
16. I never let any of my friends borrow ANY of my games.
17. I own GTA 3 & VC for both PS2 AND PC and never beat either one.
18. DOA Xtreme arouses me too.

My own personal confessions...

I own Need For Speed Underground for PS2, Xbox AND PC, Paid less than 15.00 TOTAL for all 3 and never played the damn game, any version.

I have jacked off to video games before, many years ago, but I have.

I bought Disney's Extreme Skate Adventure, beat it 100%, AND wrote a stunning review for it over at Gamefaqs.

I own over 2200 games, not roms, and I barely have enough time off work to play them. :(

During a boss battle in Gradius 3, I once became so annoyed that I threw my controller down and started crying.

When I emulate, I usually cut the sound off and turn on some JOURNEY or REO SPEEDWAGON! \m/

Oh, here's one I just remembered . . .

I once returned a game to Wal-Mart after it had been used for just a couple of days.

Whaaaaaaat??!!!! It's the ONLY time I've ever done it. I'm really good at "re-sealing" and this GCN game had no security sticker so the only complicated thing was cellophane shrinkwrap -- which is fairly easy. Small piece of tape took care of the rest.

I'm kind of a PRO at this but only because I like to keep my cases looking new. I just remove the disc and manual and you can easily tell by the weight that it is indeed empty. I store the discs in a DVD wallet.

Yeah, my friend has suggested that I could easily substitute a blank CD-r and some paper and then do a return. But that would be SO WRONG!

I bought a PS2 about 2 weeks after launch, and it broke a year later with DRE, so I took my walmart receit and cut the date and time off from the bottom, and got my complete 320$ back :), even though system was almost a year and half old :)

2. I bought 5 copies of primal from ebgames.com when they were on sale for like 7$, and returned them all to walmart for 230$ store credit :)

In Monster Rancher, there is a shrine where you can pop out the Monster Rancher disc, load any other disc in (game or CD), and generate a random monster from it. My parents had a huge CD collection, and I remember spending at least three days generating monsters from hundreds of CDs. I had to catch 'em all! :P

I had a coupon for $5 off Resident Evil 0 at Target, so I felt obligated to buy it. I played it for less than half an hour, got killed by a zombie dog, and sold it later for about half of what I bought it for.

I, too, never beat Final Fantasy VII, but I did beat II & III.

I have jacked off to video games before, many years ago, but I have.

Almost every game I had for the 2600 was just a chip that fit onto a dummy cart that my dad had rigged up. He had a machine at work that copied eproms. Those of you who have read my anti-piracy posts should find this to be a hell of a confession. At the time, I was not mature enough to determine how wrong piracy was, and since my father clearly condoned it (he was, after all, copying the carts himself), I didn't question it until many years later.

When I was sick as a child, my favorite things to play were the 2600 versions of Spider-Man and Superman.

I never owned ColecoVision or Intelevision, but was jealous of my friends who did.

I did not grow up with NES, SNES, Genesis. I can not hold my own in a conversation about old-school RPGs, etc.

I love GBA metroids, but never played the originals (tried to play the unlockable one through my GBA/GC link, didn't get very far).

Never finished an FF game. Didn't even come close with 7, didn't play 8 or 9, came very close with 10 before my PS2 (with my saves) got stolen.

Haven't finished KotoR. I don't remember where I left off, but I think I was near the end.

I use FAQs and walkthroughs. I sometimes use them just to keep track of story if I have taken some time off from a game, but sometimes I use them just to speed through a game as quickly as possible.

I used the BG&E strat guide to remind me what was going on. After I remembered, I just kept using the guide until I finished the game.

The bottom shelf of my bookcase is filled with penny guides. BG&E and Crimson Skies are the only ones I ever used. The Crimson Skies guide was useless for the section with which I needed help.

I have an Atari Lynx.

I can't find my copy of Suikoden II. I sold 2 sealed ones, but there was one that I actually played. It is probably packed in a box somewhere.

I have a Virtual Boy and, I believe, 9 games. I have had it for years, bought off ebay, I think. I have not played it once.

I may have more sealed games than played ones. That doesn't sound too bad, but I am including all systems in that count, i.e. my total number of sealed Xbox, PS1, PS2, GBA, GBC, DS, N64, DC, Saturn, PC, (NES, SNES, Genesis, Lynx, Virtual Boy, NGPC, GB, GBC -- For the systems in these parentheses, I have very few games, and none are sealed) is greater than the number of opened ones.

I have lost over $1,000 spent on consoles/games due to fraudulent sellers. I never filed mail fraud charges, I still have the Money Order stubs. This happened several years ago.

2 Christmases ago, my Xbox, PS2, and GC were all stolen when my house was broken into. I filed a police report, but never filed a claim with my insurance.

Ocarina of time was my first Zelda game. Mario 64 was my first Mario Game. I have never played a pokemon game.

Due mainly to DVDs and games, there is literally not room to walk around in my living room, dining room, bedroom, or spare bedroom (office). I am working at straightening up, though.

I spend more on games and DVDs than I do on all other expenses put together. Ok, I don't know that for a fact, but it seems that way. The realization that I don't know for a fact if the statement is true or not bothers me. I need to pay more attention to my finances.

I have yet to try Xbox Live.

I don't really care for FPS or racing games.

I bought my first console(s) (2600 doesn't count, because it was my dad's really, and I didn't pay for it anyway) in my 20s, because I realized that it could actually be cheaper to have a bunch of games at home than to toss quarters into an arcade machine. I never play arcade machines.

None of my close friends are console gamers :(. I have some friends who are into PC games, but I don't like most PC games.

I don't like most PC games.

I wish I had more gamer friends who could come over. No one seems to have the time (I don't really, either).

I suck at most videogames. My non-gamer friends think I am good, in spite of what I tell them.

I have yet to unpack my Steel Batallion that I got during the MediaPlay sale.

I have played Halo 2 and GTA:SA once each. Not once all the way through, just one sitting each.

I have played Panzer Dragoon Saga and Burning Rangers for less than 5 minutes. I don't own either. They had them set up at Epcot one year, I can't remember if it was before the official release, or what, but no one else was interested. I would rather purchase a used PDS than a factory sealed one. If I got a sealed one, I might be tempted to turn around and sell it without playing it.

I don't like Resident Evil games for the most part, but I ordered the Tin. I haven't even played the demo yet.

My copy of Snake Eater is still sealed, as are my KotoR 2, and Metroid Echoes.

I didn't get the big deal about Myst. I borrowed it from a friend and finished it in an afternoon (didn't even have to use a walkthrough). My friend didn't believe that I finished it. It seemed really short and empty to me.

Ok, that is enough confession for now. How many "Hail, Master Chief"s do I need to say?

I bought a PS2 about 2 weeks after launch, and it broke a year later with DRE, so I took my walmart receit and cut the date and time off from the bottom, and got my complete 320$ back :), even though system was almost a year and half old :)

2. I bought 5 copies of primal from ebgames.com when they were on sale for like 7$, and returned them all to walmart for 230$ store credit :)

Well, confession is supposed to be good for the soul, but based on the smileys, it seems you aren't at all remorseful. Perhaps I am mis-reading it.

I came up with another one, and this is big for me, since many people here know how opposed I am to the WalMart scam...

I camped out in front of Target for the PS2 launch. I bought the system, Tekken Tag, and I don't remember what else (I think I actually bought the vertical stand at that time also. Talk about remorse). Well, when I got home and played TTT, I noticed that one of the tabs inside the case was broken. I was pretty anal about my things at the time, so, when I got the chance, I took it back to Target to get a replacement. Then, after I didn't play the game for a while, I realized I didn't really care for it enough to justify the $50, and here I had this sealed game. So, I returned the sealed game for a refund (store credit). I still feel kind of bad about it, but I don't let it eat my up inside or anything. I wouldn't do it again.

I payed full price for World Series Baseball 2K1 for the Dreamcast. Talk about $50 down the toilet in a matter of seconds. Played it once and will forever hate myself.

I have played and beat every single FF game. Even though my very fist RPG was FFVII. I played FFVII 4 separate times from begining to end hoping that there was a different ending.
I put about 250 hours into FFX. Didn't stop playing until I had gotten every single last item/weapon and maxed out every character in the game. And that's not counting the amount of times that I didn't save the game for different reasons.

A couple more after reading the latest batch:

- I didn't like the original NES Metroid.

- I have only played an average of an hour each of Prince/Persia 1, Beyond Good & Evil, Splinter Cell, Halo 1, and Ninja Gaiden.

- I have never played my copies of Splinter Cell 2, Riddick, Spider-Man 2, Fight Night, Full Spectrum Warrior, Fire Emblem, Ratchet & Clank 3, Mario Golf Advanced, MK: Deception, Pikmin 2, and a ton of other "Triple-A" games.

- I only played about 4 hours of Fable. I got married to some guy, then took him to a remote location and killed him. I felt very guilty, and haven't played since.

Let's see:

-I hated Ocarina of Time, and yet still strongly considered getting the port they made with Wind Waker
-I have never beat a Mega Man or X game, or even gotten close (beat Zero 1 & 2 though, go figure)
-I liked SaGa Frontier (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/198537.asp)
-I've never even looked at an OTT.

Edit: I bought SC5 for $2.50 and used it to remind others that they had paid full price

Double edit: I also liked Enter the Matrix and beat it twice (on a free rental)

A confession I forgot:

I sold a number of probably priceless games. The list includes:

-Shining Force 2 and Shining in the Darkness for the Genesis

-Lunar: The Silver Star and Lunar 2: Eternal Blue for the Sega CD

-sealed copies of Star Tropics and Star Tropics 2 for the NES

-Panzer Dragoon Saga, Shining Force 3 (US), Burning Rangers, NiGHTS, Dragon Force, Dracula X (JP), Metal Slug (JP), Samurai Showdown 3 (JP) and my large assortment (30 or so games) of Saturn games. About half of them were imports.

I also paid full price for Space Channel 5, just to have pete5883 rub it in my face when he bought it for $2.50 a short while later.

I still haven't played most of the ones on your not played yet list, although I don't own R&C3 or MK:D. Of the ones you listed, I will probably play Riddick first since it is likely to be the shortest.

You have played more Fable than I. I found it really funny that a guy with the username ViolentLee felt guilty about killing someone in a videogame.

ICO is another supposedly awesome game I didn't play much. I will definitely play more Prince of Persia: SoT, but probably not the others. Most that I mention never playing are on my "list", which means I aim to play them, take it for what it's worth.

I've tried to play shorter games to get through them, which is why I played Ratchet/Clank 2, though it was still about 13 hours. Sometimes I'll just take a few hours to play games I never played before. The other day I played Kirby Air Ride, NFL Street, and Test Drive Eve of Destruction. The only one I liked at all was Test Drive.

The irony of my name isn't lost on me. I got it from kicking people in the head in a wrestling ring, which for some reason is less traumatic than killing my gay, digital better half. Go figure...

Well, in ICO, you're not really trying to defeat the enemies, though that's a good thing, you just want to get past them. KH is just like most action RPG's, where there's mostly enemies coming after you and you can generally defeat them all since you gain strength. There's not really much comparison, though you have somewhat the gist of it, but it's deeper than that in KH.

During a boss battle in Gradius 3, I once became so annoyed that I threw my controller down and started crying.

I just remembered something. I hate myself everytime I think about this.

My sister's ex-boyfriend used to be a nerd. He had a shit-load of old school game, played Magic, and D&D. One day he brought me a big box of assorted game stuff. There were three Nintendo's, one SNES, about a dozen NES games, maybe six SNES games, something like 5 controllers for both systems (including the wireless thingy for NES), and a lot of booklets and stuff for games that weren't in there. BTW, there was also a complete copy of Chrono Trigger. Well, a day or two after I sorted out everything, I went to my local independant game store and traded in everything NES, the games and systems. I think I got like $120 in credit, but I really wish I kept one of the NES's. But, I did buy a NGPC for $60 of credit--that, I'm proud of.

I waited in line until midnight for the PS2 launch at Wal-Mart. After I got home, I set my alarm for 5:00 am, got up, and went to BB and CC and ended up getting two more. When I got the last one, at CC, my credit card was denied (the anti-fraud thing kicked in b/c I had purchased over $600 in just a few hours, so I used my corporate credit card instead). I was forced to buy FantaVision with the CC deal.

I promptly put the other two PS2s on ebay and made about $500 which covered my PS2, memory card, and game (SSX) plus a little extra.

I then let my friend borrow it and he completed it before me and I even saw some later levels as I was over watching him play and basically the storyline was ruined and I never got back to it. :x

Also, I paid 70$ for what turned out to be a bootleg version of Mickey Mouse DDR for ps1. I win teh moron award.

I keep thinking of more.

I got stuck on the TUTORIAL level to Max Payne (Xbox). I somehow missed the "enemies" button so that I could practice my shooting more. Some days, maybe even weeks later, I was able to get thru it and I even found the "secret room" so I was happy. :D

I then let my friend borrow it and he completed it before me and I even saw some later levels as I was over watching him play and basically the storyline was ruined and I never got back to it. :x

In 2003, I rented Max Payne 2 and beat it ...way before my friend.

That's must've taken you a total of...eh...5 hours? :D

I really didn't get into it until right before it was due back so I had to rent it a 2nd time. I'd say it was probably under 10 hours total playing time. Yeah, I know some were saying it was way short but then I had nothing to compare it to . . . I guess it was.

I still have yet to beat the final battle in Chrono-Trigger.

Also, I once lied to my gf's little brother and told him that I didn't have my GBA with me because I didn't want him screwing up my Golden Sun save.

I've never beaten a FF game ... yet.

I don't like survival horror games.. because I'm easily scared like hell. For goodness sakes I close my eyes half the time in the movies. So I haven't played RE or Silent Hill.

Never owned a SNES, Saturn, DC or Xbox (never will)

Being low on cash and itching to replace a broken system, I scammed a Playstation thanks to a friend working at Toys R Us. I returned a Sega Genesis + Sega CD to Toys R Us in 1998 after owning them for several years and received over $300 in store credit. Their return policy would allow customers to return anything, regardless of when it was purchased (and if you knew somebody who worked there -- without a receipt) for full original purchase price.

I traded my Neo Geo (cart system) + 5 games for a Japanese PlayStation 2 + 3 launch titles when it first came out.

I paid $750 for a Japanese Dreamcast + 3 launch titles when it first came out. :!:

I bought more than fifty copies of Madden from a department store going out of business, and over the course of 3 weeks my girlfriend and I traded them in for 4-6x their value at EB & Gamestop. This was back when you were allowed to trade-in more than 1 copy of the same game.

I own 136 Xbox games.

Recently bought Legends of Wrestling

What a terrible. terrible game, it makes me glad to see Acclaim in ruins. I'll keep it sinece how it was a mere $ 2.50 and if another Blockbuster deal ever comes around like the 8 dollar one, it'll have been a nice profit.

I also bought Thunder for full price, but when I got it I actually liked it and played it a ton. I hate it now, but was worth the money for how much I played it back then.

Played the Suffering on Xbox all night one day with a friend. We're right at the end of the game when the system starts making that buzzing sound, and the screen goes blank. My last save was at the beggining of the game some 8 hours earlier.

Holy shit! Someone else has played Tunnels of Doom? I loved that game! Cassette disc drive, cracking safes, and going through multicolored hallways that were essentially a big X on the screen.

I thought of one more confession:
When I first played Super Mario 3, it took FOREVER to get past the mini fortress. The problem? My TV was so dark, I couldn't see the simple door. I eventually discovered how to fly up and over the right side, leading to the whistle. It wasn't until I played it at a friend's that I say the "real" door. I was quite surprised.

-I bought Need For Speed Underground 2, despite only playing 10 minutes of the first.

-I bought a used copy of Viewtiful Joe for $25 the day after I got my Gamecube last February, and I still have yet to play it. I should have waited until it dropped to $20.

-The only Final Fantasy games I've ever beat were FFIII and Mystic Quest on the SNES.

-I have yet to play through any RPGs from the Playstation era on.

-I emulate the NES, but only the games I can't play on another console.

-I regrettably sold a handful of SNES games when I was in high school. I don't even remember what I spent the money on. I own most of them again, except for a couple I never liked in the first place.

-I have yet to play any Resident Evil games. Although I picked up RE2 (N64) and Code: Veronica X (PS2) recently, so one of these days...

Final Fantasy 3 on SNES is the only one I beat, too, and I own basically all of them.

Also, the only RPG on PSone I beat was Suikoden 1. Again, I own basically all of them.

I miss so many games that I got rid of -- Final Fantasy 3, Secret of Mana, my first Super Metroid -- not to mention the Sega CD gems I talked about in a previous confession.

Only RE games I played were 1 and 2 on PSone (didn't beat either one). Funny, then, that I haven't played any of the ones I actually own (RE2 on Dreamcast, Code Veronica, REmake GCN, RE 0). Also funny that I'm going to pick up RE4 this week.

Whew!! That was hard to admit! I've actually got both games for N64 and for GCN, but I just haven't gotten around to them...hopefully I can finish at least one of them (and the Minish Cap) before the next GCN title comes out...

I've said this before, but its my confession

I had a chance to buy Panzer Dragoon Saga (very rare Saturn game), but decided instead to buy Rebel Assault 2.

Also, though I really enjoy the FF games, I did not overally enjoy FFVI (FFIII for the SNES). I thought it was impressive, but it was too difficult for me.

I thought FFVII sucked, and never finished it. (I used to think future based RPGs were stupid)

I played Dragon Warrior (the first one) so much that eventually I maxed out all of the stats Gold and EXP could not go any higher.

No RE game has EVER scared me, but I almost pissed my pants in Conker's Bad Fur Day for the N64 in the haunted house level.

One of my favorite NES games was (I can't remember the name) based in Disneyland with you trying to rescue the park.

I just purchased three more games today which I will probably never get around to playing.

My ex-girlfriend wanted me to give up video games, so I broke up with her.

We later hooked back up when I convinced her to play Mario Party 4 with me and she loved it.

I once had sex in the middle of a Mario Party game (we finished the game later). See above.

I have downloaded many PC games and never purchased them, also I have purchased many GCN and PS2 games and never played them.

Those racing stages were just awful, weren't they? I think I beat the game once; but, I also think I managed to successfully convince myself that I beat the Robocop arcade game, but I don't know if I'm lying to myself or not.

My confession, fresh as of yesterday:

I just destroyed my first PS2 controller out of frustration. (no big deal, happens to some of us some of the time).

It was while playing the Tigger mini-game in Winnie the Pooh's forest in Kingdom Hearts. GodDAMN that was frustrating!

A few more:

-I actually enjoyed playing the following games:

4x4 Evo 2 (GC) - 57% on Game Rankings (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/914445.asp?q=4x4%20evo%202)
Corvette (PS2) - 54% (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/914891.asp?q=Corvette)
Strike Force Bowling (PS2) - 53% (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/919441.asp?q=strike%20force%20bowling)

While they're obviously not the best games out there, I enjoyed them for what they were.

-I enjoy a good chunk of the Burnout 3 soundtrack, even though I don't normally listen to most of those bands (I only own CDs by two of the bands that appear on it - Eighteen Visions and Local H). However, I still think about half of the songs don't fit in with the game and have no right being in there.

-I once considered owning The Guy Game. I have since seen the error of my ways.

It's becoming a rare game and a collector's item now. I just sold my used copy for $48 on eBay...

My confessions are:

I own about ~70 PS2/XBox/GC games, I only beat Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, RE4, and FFX.

I don't like GTA series
I don't like Halo games
I don't like Mario games (hated hated hated Mario 64)
I don't like Gran Turismo games
I don't like Zelda: OOT (spent 2 hours on it and quit)
I don't like Zelda: Majora's Mask (spent 20 mins on it and quit)
I don't like MGS 1&2

I've spent more hours in Soldier of Fortune II on PC than all of the PS2/XBox/GC game time combined during the past ~3 years.

I rarely finish a game. I get quite close like last level, or in rpgs 90% don -
but never quite find the time to finish it. Only finished around 20 games in my entire life, even though I have hundreds in my collection.

I bought a genesis 3 system and earthworm jim recently to play it again. I had to have a complete earthworm jim so I payed about $25 bucks for it (it was sealed). Then I opened it played it for a few minutes and now I want to sell the genesis.

In the meantime I bought about 6 or 7 other complete games that I used to have when I had my first Genesis. Haven't played any of them.

I got the Genesis 32X close to launch.

I have more sealed games than played games.

I have two copies of the Zelda Collection Disc for the gamecube. One open to play and one sealed in case anything happens to that one. This wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't completely anal about keeping my games pristine.

I just started playing Mario 64.

I hope they make Starfox 64 for the DS so I can get rid of my Nintendo 64.

I have about 3 or 4 dreamcast systems...Got them all cheap but I think I went a little CAG crazy. This wouldn't be so bad if I played one of them. Anyone need one?

I hate the Resident Evil games although I want to give RE4 a shot.

After years and years of playing RPG's I just recently realized I hate them.

I never beat FFVII....still haunts me as well.

I hate FPS games. I hate HALO.

I played three mintues of GTA III and was bored to death.

I think the original Nintendo Baseball is the best baseball game ever made.

I played through Metal Gear Solid multiple times and loved it. I got the demo of MGS2 with Zone of Enders...played it...couldn't get anywhere let alone finish it, traded the game in, bought MGS2 Substance...and it's still sealed. I need a day to sit down with that one and play.

I have a Nintendo Power Subscription (this was to get the Zelda Collector's Disc). No big deal but I got a little misty when I saw on Nintendo's site that my first subscription was back in 1989.

There is probably a ton more but I could really be here all day!

-Im currently in the middle of a Dreamcast binge. Ive spent a lot of cash re-collecting all the games i sold when i traded it in a couple years ago.

-I will also buy a Pokemon RPG if they ever come out with one on Gamecube.

The only RPG I can play is Paper Mario.
I wish I stil had a SNES. I traded it in for a Sega Gamegear when it first came out.
