On a scale of 1-10 what would you give it? Also is it worth 40 bucks?

I give it a 8 or 9 not really worth the money but pretty damn good, you dont even notice it half the time.

It would be worth it if the damn thing came with the connector for the controller.

It's so good you'll think your Master Cheif and try to kill your dog.

I spent the full $50 on it with some trade in gredit and game crazy and I don't regret it at all. Its great for long periods of Xbox live play. You can't even feel it on your ear.

Hmm, I would never buy the Halo headset, because I don't think I would like sticking the ear piece, well, in my ear...

I'd give it a 3, since I could never get it sitting right in my ear to get any decent volume out of it. Also, I had issue with balancing it right.

Must be my huge Dumbo ears that were the problem.

I've had the Xbox Communicator Headset on for hours without any issues. I went back to it.

Even if it was $30, I'd still pass on it, IMHO.

I would give it a 7 personally. It's very comortable to wear, but the sound is softer i've found then the packaged headset. Definitely worthwhile if you plan on playing long hours.

That's what she said. Seriously, I do like the headset a lot and it has about 6 different ear plugs, so you can find one you like. I prefer the small soft spongy one.
