Google Ad clicks or shopping through the links? Do you get a cut from Google per click?

Shopping through the links...
Clicking on the Google ads generates about .05-.15 cents per click.
Purchasing items through the affiliate links generates a commission based on a percentage of the sale. The percentage can range from 1%-10% with 3%-5% being the average. Some retailers have items are not commissionable. Game retailers generally do not give out commissions on console hardware.

Would it be inappropriate to ask if you can make a decent living from CAG alone?

I am guessing that you mean google ads generate 5 to 15 cents per click, but I wanted to make sure you didn't mean 1/20 cent to 3/20 cent per click (which would take forever to get any money). I really am not asking just to be a smartass, I am just curious.

Do you know if I could click links over and over to generate cash flow for the site? Or does it log an IP address and only give so much from one address?
I do a lot of B&M shopping so I'm just trying to do my part for the site.

They probably can tell if somebody is going too crazy with the clicking.

It's good to let us know that you get a decent cut from sales through the site links. I always assumed it was less than the 3%-5% you say is average. I'll be more committed to jumping from here to the shops when I'm buying then.
Wow even a nickel per click is a lot more than I would have expected Google Ads to pay. (Although I realize those ads probably have a pathetically small click through rate.)
