Question about slim PS2

I want to play imports on my PS2. What is the best way to go about this?? Someone please help. Some reason my other topic got locked can someone explain that too?? THanks

Yeah a lot of the people that post there have no idea what there talking about though. I just dont want to drop the money on a Japanese PS2. I got a bunch of imports to play. But thanks anyway ill go post there.
