which worms game would you recommend for the gamecube?

worms 3-d, or worms blast?

is there another worms? which is better and any cheap deals out there?

Worms Armageddon for the Dreamcast is awesome, not sure how much it goes for these days though.

Worms blast is a puzzle game like puzzle bubble. Worms 3D is like classic worms but in 3D so it depends on what you want.

That's the best. But not nearly as fun as it used to be. Once upon a time, there were rankings and whatnot through the Team 17 server, but some asshat put a stop to that (I was actually in the top 10 for a week at #10). It's still fun, and supported by various old clans and stuff with soundbanks, maps, etc. You can also get a patch to get 100% Windows XP compatibility. I'm not sure about Worms 3-D, as I've heard that it had its problems. IMO, they should have kept it 2d. It's a little scarce on Gamecube and PS2, and trust me.. half of the fun in worms is online anyways. Besides, although I've owned it before for PS1 and DC (World Party), I'd much rather use keyboard and mouse. It's easier for Ninja Roping.

Off topic, but isnt there a PC game called gunbound thats like it? Don't get me wrong, I love my worms (World Tour baby) but gunbound would be a nice free alternative

This is bringing back good old memories of my Mallrats and Army of Darkness soundbanks, playing ninja ropers and shoppers till 2 am, and topping it all off with a nice Rum and Pepsi (Captain and Cherry Pepsi, in a dixie cup on the rocks).

I almost want to reinstall it and start slinging homing pigeons and holy hand grenades like the days of old.

Just to be dumb, I am going to say your best bet would be gummy worms, they are fun to play with and taste great

Worms World Party is probably the best worms game. It has all the same stuff from Armageddon plus more. I enjoy it, but I'm not sure where you'd be able to get it cheap because I didn't buy my copy... 8-[

Yea there a Worm look alike online .. = Gunbound. I like that.. but I haven't tried Armaggeden one. Although I do have Worms 3D and it's ok.. for the PS2.. sorta hard to find the one on GC for me.. since Acclaim x.x. Ususally it sells for (on GC) about $24.99 used.. if you want it. But you could take the free cheap way and download Gunbound @ www.gunbound.net
