Are they the same game? If not, is the N64 version worth owning if I have the PSOne version?

I concede, was thinking of the other title which is similar to PSX BtN.

No (At least I don't think they are). Yes.

No same characters, different setting, personalities, story, new gameplay elements, very different games.

back to nature and fomt and the games that are pretty much the same. BtN and 64 are completely different.

Yep. Not sure why I had a momentary lapse of intelligence.

Yah, different. HM64 is my all time fav, followed by BTN and FoMT.

Basically, FoMT is a sort of compilation of the best that they thought could put together, hence the similarity to BtN. They left out some good elements and added some useless ones, but all around FoMT is a pretty good game with enough difference to say it doesn't lean heavily on BtN. Tomato fights and secret caves and unfinished bridges in the mountains leading to secret date (or marriage) scenes would be mildly interesting, though.

Indeed, the N64 version is definately worth owning, but uh... I wouldn't pay over $30 for it.

I can get it for $30... is it worth it? I'm wondering if I should pay the cash. Any help would be nice :D

HM64 is totally worth having. If you are a fan of the series, that's the best game right there. Especially after you find the musicbox glitch. :)

Get it. It's definately worth it. I regret having ever trading it in. I can't find it anymore. (Offline, anyway.) And there are lots of great N64 fanpages that you'll understand and enjoy when you get the game.

Music box glitch....? Refresh my memory. And does that horse race "cheat" work for anyone else?

You could dig up the music box more than once, effectively bringing the girl you want to marriage range by the first summer. And if you mean wagering, then cancelling out, but it still counted your wager, then yes.
