I bought Strider 2 (from EB) like three weeks ago but I have yet to play it, till today and it doesn't work. Can strider 2 be played in the ps2 or does it only play on psone? I can't return it because I passed the policy so is their a way I can fix it to play?
Unsure, but IIRC, it will play on the PS2. I can't confirm this though. My friend has a copy, and I believe we played it on his PS2.

Hmm, I remember playing Strider on the Sega Genesis, back in the day. I never got to play the arcade perfect, PSOne version or Strider 2...

IS their a way maybe I can fix it? It has a few scratches but the other disc with strider 1 works well with alot more scratches.

Does it load and freeze? Or does it not load at all? Gamecrazy charges 3 bucks to resurface a game, and they tend to work flawlessly after that.

Try cleaning it. NOT Disc Doctoring it, but cleaning it, be careful though those discs can scratch very easily, it took me a long time to find a good way to clean the discs without scratching them.

Hmm. Interesting to know, will they do it with any games I bring in? Or do I have to buy the game from them? Also, will do it for any system?

We'll it load up till the PS logo and then nothing else. Should I boil it?

They basically start buy doing the exact same thing the disk doctor does, scrubing off the top layer of plastic, but more profesionally and evenly, they then recoat it with plastic and polish it, the only thing really is that ther machine is industrial strength.
I wouldn't boil your disk. How badly scratched is it? if it;s just a few light dings it's probably not the fact.

Yeah boil it and dont forget to add oregano for flavor. Ryo, actally, I had a problem loading Tomba on my PS2, I left it loading, took some time but eventually loaded the game. Jim, as far as I know, you can bring in any game, does not have to be bought from them.

Cool beans, I have 2-3 games that could use a resurfacing

Do all gamecrazys do the resurfacing? I never heard of this service from them...

This game is way too easy if you're good at mashing buttons quickly...

Valk, yes in time all Gamecrazies will provide this service. In the meantime however, being the buffer machine so expenisive, expect some delays in some store locations. Call various locations though, one is bound to have one in already. Oh, and $20 says GameStop will eventually rip this idea from GameCrazy as well.

I've already seen Gamestop in manhattan prominantly show off their buffing machine. so I know that have it they just done seem to offer the service unless the mschine is sitting out or something.

Also, you can beat the game in like 20 minutes. It's a fun game though.
