Hearing things, probably an April Fools joke.. but i'd love to see it. It'd probably be insanely imbalanced, but I would LOVE to see it.

The artists for the Guilty Gear series should redraw all of the SF characters, and draw the MK characters (don't use real actors like the other games) and then throw them into one game :)

i disagree, they should take the live actors from the MK series and add them in with the live actors from street fighter: the movie, only then, will we actully know who is better.

M. Bison and Kano would have to sit that one out, though :(

One word: Mugen.

SF: 24432432 sequels
MK: 20 sequels

SF wins.

NOTE: Numbers are approximate.

Except the MK sequels actually are different from the previous incarnations, whereas the SF sequels add extra people and moves.. occasionaly.

If SF had the satisfaction of performing a fatality on your opponent it would be perfect.

while true, SF games (final ones) are usually very highly tuned

there was supposed to be a game called SAMMY Vs. CAPCOM, but since CAPCOM is no longer making fighting games, I think that idea has been nixed

Good point. Truthfully, I haven't played any of them since SF 2 Turbo Championship Edition (just typing that made me feel a little ill) and MK2.

Never really could get into the MK series, never really saw the skill behind it. Always been attracted to SF, especially SF3 3rd Strike.

The Vs. game I'M waiting for is the Wu-Tang vs. Guilty Gear game i heard about. A true battle of old school vs. new school. Will Rock and Roll survive or will Hip-Hop into the history books?

This is a great idea, but my question is could they incorporate the graphics together. The characters from like Mortal Kombat 2 or 3 with SFIII: Third Strike.

As somebody else said... with Mugen all your fighting game dreams can come true.

I think akuma vs shao kun would be a pretty awesome fight.

Both games have 2d and 3d incarnations. It would be cool if they had old school (mk1,2,3,umk3 vs. sf2, sf3) mode and new school mode (sf ex, newer mk's).

How about Tao Feng vs Kakuto Chojin?

just because capcom isn't make new fighting games anymore doesn't mean sammy vs. capcom can't happen. capcom did cvs2 and snk did svc chaos. sammy's all for making new fighting games, so maybe they can bring something nice and new to the table...

Actually SNK did SVC Chaos. Capcom vs SNK is Capcom's property.
