I don't think you will get the discrete decoding though.....as per the reviews. But, yes...$40 is nice.

The same unit but 2.1 was on the front page a few days ago fellas. I can tell yuo that its great as a $20 2.1 but disappointing as a 5.1. The Sats are good but only if yuo arent expecting the world.

Oh and I might add that they will be a total pain to mount (the surrounds) Its kind of a bent wire base.

*Update* Ok, Ive listened to my 2.1s critically and theres just no way they would work well as surrounds IMO. Especially considering how touchy the volume control is. Final verdict...... as a 2.1 setup, very good, even great if you figure in cost to the review. As a 5.1, Im not sold on them. I have the 2.1s and Im not all of the sudden wishing I had held off so I could pick these up.
