How many of you have had your PS2, Xbox, or GCN break for no reason?
Please answer the poll truthfully.

I agree, I have all three and none of mine have given me any problems.

I forgot. Can't make a edit once someone has voted either. Besides I'm more interested in knowing if all the stories are true about PS2s breaking more. Besides if you have had none break on you then consider yourself lucky

I haven't had any break for no reason. My launch PS2 got fried during an electrical storm through my surge protector, and the other PS2's were just slightly giving a fit and I used my warranty to get newer ones.

Thats fine, but when you evaluate the thread, keep in mind that more people own PS2's than any other system, so you would need to evaluate the ratio of systems broken vs. systems owned. I'm curious to see the results myself.

My first PS2 lasted 18 months and my first Xbox only lasted 15 months. Bad times.

Own them all and they've all held up fine from their launch period purchase.

I have a Thompson hard drive in my Xbox, I'm very lucky, I never had a major problem with the system. Well, I guess it's because I really take care of my Xbox and video games...:D

Gratuitous bump because I'd like to see the results of this poll after a larger population votes on it.

The closest I've ever come to a system failure was having to send my Jaguar in for replacement because it was a very early unit with a bug that prevented it from running Doom.

Does black smoke comming out of my PS2 count as it breaking? (It still works, just no rumble)

The only systems I have ever have break on me are my two original NES's.

I've had DREs with my ps2, but all I did was crack the case and clean the lense. My cube doesn't give me a problem... but I never play it. My ps1 is 8 years old and works fine... I even have a sega saturn and a SNES that work just great... I don't understand what some of you people do to your systems that make them break.
The funny thing is that it seems to be the same people that have the same problems over and over.
"man, sony is teh sukc! i has thr33 sustums break in 4 monthes. Tehy is crap!"
There was the one guy that wondered why his gamecube didnt work after throwing it across the room... WTF?

My PS2 got DRE, but Sony fixed it and had it back to me in a week.
