A few local stores around me got a bunch in stock and I'm thinking of picking one up with the 30% off coupon from EB. So as the topic stated what are some good games to get with it.

Edit: Myt mistake these games aren't for Sega CD but rather Sega Saturn, got them mixed up but still what are the good Sega CD games to get. I think I'm going to pick up a not for resale copy of Virtua Fighter 2 and a not for resale copy of Virtua Cop. Both are the full games though but come in sleeves instead of cases and are far cheaper than the case counter parts.

There was a thread on this where quite a few games (if not all the decent and good ones) were mentioned for the Sega CD.

Secondly, you can pick up the 3 pack of games VF2, VC, and Daytona USA for a fair price brand new and they all come in the sleeve.

Snatcher.......get that game, it's amazing.

Sonic CD..........best sonic game hands down.

Silpheed.......yeah, you can get it for PS2, but this was a superior version of the game.

Mickey Mania...........better than the SNES version, but not as good as Mickey Mouse and the Castle of Illusion for the genesis.

Markie Mark and the funky bunch........just for shits and giggles.

There were a couple others that I'd get if I had a Sega CD ( I used to, but sold it). They are Wonderdog, Night Trap, Rise of the Dragon, and Sewer Shark. A lot of people knocked Sewer Shark, but that was one damn hard game and I had fun with it.

oops, just saw that it was changed over to Sega Saturn. Sorry 'bout that. If it's Saturn, get Guardian Heroes. That's an awesome game.

If your looking to keep the games and not sell them, here are my recommendations (based on what I kept from a 50+ game lot I bought recently).

Double switch: I've heard it's like Night Trap, but I havn't played that one so I can't comment. Your a network admin of sorts, spying on people in thier apartments and trying to protect them from intruders and the janitor who is always messing things up. Gameplay is basically switching from camera to camera to find the intruders, then setting off traps to get rid of them. Very difficult game, wish it was a bit slower to see what everyone is doing.

Ground Zero Texas: One of my favorite games on the system, just because of how bad it is. The gameplay is like lethal enforcers, where guys pop out and you shoot them. But when you do it shows a clip of the people 'dying' and they are really, really bad actors. Never fails to make me laugh.

Prince of Persia: If you've played this game before, you know what it's about. I don't really care for it much but I hung on to it.

Rise of the Dragon: Your a dectective on a case. I didn't play it for very long, but it was really good from what I did play.

Road Avenger: Great game. It's a driving game set as a FMV cartoon. Your the driver behind the wheel. A direction or button will appear on the screen and you have a few seconds to press it or else your car will smash into someone else, drive off the edge, or a number of other various things. Pretty cool

Sega Classics: 4 great games in one CD. How can you go wrong?

Silpheed: Pretty cool shooting game like Starfox.

Terminator: Very fun side scrolling action game. This has got to be the best terminator game besides T2: The Arcade Game.

Time Gal: Game where you play a anime girl as she travels through time and encounters various dangers (monsters, gladiators, ect). Plays much like Road Avenger but it's frustratingly difficult. If you want to scream at your tv, this is the perfect game.

WWF: Rage in the Cage: I don't know why I kept it, except that someone told me he once got $60 for it on ebay. I guess i'm waiting to sell it. Just an average WWF game.

Get Popful Mail, i believe it's a working designs game. On that same note, anything by working designs is a masterpiece

My personal favorites are Earthworm Jim CD and Final Fight CD; each is the best console version of the title available.
