I came across Silent Hill 3 in the bargin bin at Circuit City. It mentioned on the back it included the soundtrack. Does every copy have the soundtrack or is this like a limited edition?
Also, Taiko drum sets...never released seperately? or just really rare?

the soundtrack in sh3 is standard, they all get it.
as for the taiko drums, they arent rare, and for once the third party ones are actually better than the namco packins

Kind of a weird incentive.
Anyway, finished it today, and now I can leave the creepiness behind :D :D :D
Anyone know where I can download the alternate endings, I sure am not going to go back in that game again :hot:

I know I sure as hell don't want to play it again, not because it was scary though, because I didn't really like it.
Too much running away from everything, not enough shooting and killing everything.

Ya thats why you use bullet multiplier, and the secret wepons, and if you are really a noob just use beginner mode

More like really crappy story that just makes me wish I was playing SH2 again...
I picked up a copy of 3 from Target on clearance, beat it, took out the soundtrack & traded the game in for a profit. ;)

LOL it was way too f'ed up for me to play again.
I have an overactive imagination - I keep wondering what the bodies in bags really were.
Like I said before, I've played and watched almost everything horror, the only stuff that really freaks me out is Se7en and Silent Hill...

The alternative ending is really short (shorter than the normal ending you get first time around) and not worth the hours of replay to see it. Someone used to host that movie but it's currently offline.
If you must know it, it's basically similar to the normal ending, except one of the characters kills the other character.
There is a third "ending" which is worth the effort to get, since you don't need to play the game all the way through - meet the right criteria (I think it was something like beat all monsters using X number of princess heart attacks) until you get to the apartment. That was the best ending from the game!

Thats the genius of the Silent Hill. You're not a badass Doom hero with a double-barrel, you're a 13 year old girl with a rusty pipe.

That's pretty much the mainstay of every Survior Horror game (with the exception of a few). If you don't like that aspect, play SH4, They force you fight and at points you have no choice but to.
