when i plug in my snes and try to turn it on, the red light flashes and it doesn't turn on. i tried it on a different snes too, and the same result. does this mean that i need a new AC adaptor? or that the are fried???

prolly you rf adaptor if the red light on the snes comes on... try a new one of those

my snes is working strong after 13 years. Dory to here about your problem though, not sure what is wrong.

well... if the red light flashes... id say a power issue... its cheaper to test the ac adapter.

You should check at your local Gamestop or EB. My local stores usually have that kind of stuff next to the used accessories

Yeah, you can probably find cheap 3rd-party adaptors and other accessories, at EB Games or GameStop...

hit up radio shack- the power should also be compatible with a nes power block

it also unclear, what exactly did you try on another snes?
the power block, a particular game, the rf adapator or rca cables?

The guy above is right, radio shack actually sells a specific ac adapter for the snes. Brand new, none of this used old stuff.

You might also want to try eBay, there's just tons of accessories for the Super Nintendo...
