Hey anyone work for a paper in those towns that are closed. Do they still got to deliver... We got 13 inches of snow a few years back and we had to still deliver every freaking paper even though there was a level 2 snow warning ....
Delivering paper sucks in the winter but Rocks in the summer... 2 hours a work a night 6 days a week = 1200 a month woo
2 hours per day x avg 25 days 50 hours / 1200 bucks = 24 bucks per hour pay

Last week, we had a half day (for midterms) on Tuesday. Every day since, including today, has been a snow day :D

Hey, when I was young we had to walk FIFTEEN MILES in the snow with no shoes on, and it was uphill BOTH WAYS. Consider yourself lucky to get 90 minutes.

You try to tell that to young people today and they won't believe you.

So far this year once we had a day when every other school in the area was closed except for us. They did decide to let us out early that day right as the freezing rain started.

In RI and MA, the governators declared all schools to be closed. I fear that without this, my school would still be open because my admin are Snow Day Nazis.
