I was at Circuit City the other day and saw the Logitech Action Controller for PS2 on sale for $9.99. I'm thinking of buying one but wanted to check and see if anyone has one. Is it pretty responsive? Any complaints?

I'm talking about the wired version by the way, not the wireless. I heard that the wireless had problems working with the new slim PS2 systems.

r u sure its the new one and not some old version with a beefy receiver?
i paid $30 shipped for mine on amazon about a month ago and im loving it
comes with two double a batteries and turns itself off if ur not using it 4 a while
the reciever is smaller then a memory card n the actual controler is only a tad bit bigger then the standard ps2 controller, but this doesn't impair gameplay u wont notice a thing. if it is the new one i highly recommend it.

He's talking about the wired version. I'd say from the quality of their other controllers, that it's a good controller worth the price.

I've always been happy with Logitech - I've owned mice, keyboards, and console controllers.

I only have the wireless controllers (both for Xbox and PS2, which I'm happy with), so I can't comment on the Action Controller, but here is a review from IGN:

I have the old version of the wireless paid $20 for it(I'll buy the newer one when I can get it for $20)

Its big and heavy like a tank . . . but I love it. The feel is great in my hands and the response is dead on.
