Haha int.
I'd say that the CE edition of Ocarina is rare or could be in the future.
Any import game...so Sin and Punishment. What was the name of the RTS game that Nintendo made? Or at least they might have published it...

Nothing released in the United States is rare with the exception of Clay Fighter 63 1/3 Sculptor's Cut, which is a bonafide rarity. Any other game is *not* rare and never will be.
Outside of the United States, Bomberman 64 (aka Bomberman Arcade Edition, no relation to the stateside Nintendo 64 game) and Bangai O are both going to be extreme rarities. Sin & Punishment is not rare and never will be.

How about Ogre Battle 64? Methinks that's a rare N64 if ever there was one.

Oh lord, I would kill for Bangai-O for the 64. I've seen it once and have kicked myself for not picking it up that day.
I also believe Starcraft 64 is one of the sought after titles for that system.

I picked up Starcraft 64 at a GameRush once. It ended up being a non-working Mission Impossible with a Starcraft sticker over it. Very tricky...

Starcraft 64 and Harvest Moon are two of the most sought after/hard to find titles for the system.
My local GameStop has Star Craft 64 for $25, but I dont want it.

I didn't know that there was a US release of Bangai-O for the N64. I have a few copies for the DC, but never heard of the N64 version.

I have got to give a nod to "Star Soldier: Vanishing Earth". I own this game and love it! In fact, I still play it and my love for it and the frenetic gameplay it offers never fades. Funny story about this game - I really didn't think much about the rarity of this game until it was mentioned on a show on G4 TechTV (then just called G4). The show was Filter and the subject of the episode was, I believe, "Most Spectacular Failures". At first, I was kind of offended (since I love the game), but really the person commenting on Star Soldier was citing the fact that so few people bought the game. Very good game.

No such game exists in the US. Bangai O for the N64 was a Japan only game that frequently sells for $100+ on Ebay. It's name is actually Bakuretsu Muteki Bangaioh.

Uh, no. The link above is to games made by the company called "Rare". Donkey Kong 64 is not "scarce" in any way.
That rareware site is fucking horrible.
Anyways, I have complete Starcraft 64 and complete Ogre Battle 64 . A winner is me. :)
Both have gone down considerably in value the last few years

A few titles had very small production runs and some of those are imports to boot. Not terribly rare but rare-ish.
Rocket: Robot on Wheels is one that elicits surprise from people seeing my collection since it got no PR and hardly anyone ever knew it existed. They're even mor esurprised since it's a great game.

DK 64 might not be rare, but the Expansion slot gets hard to find in some used game stores.

Every Gamecrazy around me has at least 4-5 BlastCorps and generally most GCs also have 2-3 PilotWings. Not too hard to come by really.

It really isn't all that great. Maybe if somebody got the license today they could make something out of it, but otherwise it was sort of mediocre at best so I can't really blame them.

I don't know why but it seems that every Gamecrazy has tons and tons of N64 games and accesories including the Expansion pak but it goes for too much. In case3 you were wondering, it goes for 19.99 at GC and they barely have any promotions for it or discounts so it is way too much in my, and most likely any CAG's, book.

If you look on eBay you'll find this one guy with a bunch of auctions selling the Expansion Pak in combination with Perfect Dark for a BIN of $15. Not bad if you don't have Perfect Dark already. Shipping is a bit high, IMO.

Yeah that is alot of money for an expansion slot that only works for like 4 games.

You guys have got to be kidding about OoT. You can not only buy it from Eb for very cheap, especially after CAG15, Edge, etc....but $10 is well-worth and a more than fair price. Anyhow, this is one of the best selling games of all time, how in the world is this rare or even hard-to-find.

If I didn't have a subscription to Nintendo Power near the end of the N64's life, I may have not heard of it at least until recently. I got a promotional video in the mail around that time with clips of that, Rayman 2, and Tonic Trouble on it. It's something I'd like to check out one of these days.
From my personal experience:
-Blast Corps is far from rare. I see it a lot for five bucks.
-I've seen Harvest Moon 64 in the wild once - a loose cart for $15. It was on my N64 want list, so I bought it without a second thought. I was expecting to pay at least $20 for a copy, so I was happy. :D Another friend of mine just found one at a local EB for $18 or so.
-I have yet to find a copy of Starcraft 64 in the wild.
-I've seen Clay Fighter Sculptor's Cut once.
-Another hard to find game I've heard of is Stunt Racer 64, and I've seen that a few times. Mostly at Game Crazy, because I don't know who the hell would pay $29.99 for an obscure N64 game with little demand.

I've found 2 Harvest Moon 64s. One in a flea market for $5, the other at ebgames for $16.99. They both sold for about $25-$30 on ebay.

It's a lot more than four and the list includes some of the best N64 software. At this late anyone starting an N64 collection would be missing a big part of what the system offered if they don't get the RAM Expansion.

The big question here is does high cost = rare? Because if it does, I think these go for the most money on ebay
Harvest Moon
Ogre Battle
The New Tetris
Mario Tennis
Mario Party Series
StarCraft
There is no order to these, and at any given time you can score these for $20, but you will consistanly pay the most for these. Based on my experience, of course.

No I'm not gona buy it, just checked eBay. I just wanted to know if I could buy it and make a profit by selling it on eBay or something. Trust me, I don't buy games just cause they're rare, unless I can find em' cheap and make a profit.

True, but you can never be to careful. Look at Resident Evil 2 and 3 for gamecube. I could've picked those up for like $20 each if I was paying attention to their street price.
