anyone remember this game? i can't seem to find it anywhere. i remember playing the first one back in '92 or so...then the sequel came out at some point.

Not sure where you can get them... but I definitely remember playing the 2nd one (and vaguely the first one). I just remember the 2nd was much better than the first.

LAUNCH FIGHTERS! That was a great game. You can find 2 and 3 on Amazon. They also have the first one for the Sega Genesis. I'm pretty sure I have the PC version somewhere, though I doubt it will run on modern computers.

I goth SCI-III on the PC originals. You can get SCII for free on the internet since it's open source. It's based on the code for the 3DO version (I have that one too).

The Arilou are pretty badass eventhough they only hold 6 crew. I used to play Melee mode all the time just to get really good. Yehat, Kohr-Ah (of course), and Orz were always fun too.
Ahhh good times ... I may need to pop that in again ... so addicting :)
