There is more info here (http://www.aventuraycia.com). The rumors of successful negotiations appear to have been caused by inaccurate translation at this site. (scroll down at that site for English) Very sad news as I was really looking forward to the new Sam and Max and Full Throttle games until they decided to cancel them. Lucasarts appears to have decided to continue their descent by cranking out subpar Star Wars games instead of the quality titles they used to be known for. At least we had some hope with a possible sale of the license.

There might still be hope yet according to this user (http://games.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=137852&cid=11529774) at /. which is running a story now about this in their games section. If the information pcgames.de is reporting is accurate Bad Brains is in talks with Steve Purcell himself as the rights revert back to him in May. I sure hope this is true as a sequel might help revitalize interest in adventure games.
