I would say so. It's a great fighting game.

I second that. However, I use a PS2 controller on it via a converter. For some reason, the Xbox controller just doesn't feel right for a 2d fighter

I got you beat. I got mine for free at TRU during the buy 2 get 1 free sale. I picked it up with the last two copies of Motor Trend Lotus Challenge (which rung at $27 I think). After the cashier totaled everything, the Motor games dropped to $13.xx and the $19.99 GGX became free!

I then went to FYE and sold both the Motor games for $54 in cash.

Free at TRU beats $5 at CC any day. If only all of us could get in on such a deal.

I use a converter for this game as well. The Xbox controller (though I love it for everything else) has a horribly flawed D-pad, and in fighters where you have to do all those quarter-circle half-circle nonsense, it just doesn't work.

Hmm... I don't have a problem with the D-pad on the Xbox controller but it definitely is bulky for fighting games and I would love to use a PS2 controller with my xbox games. How much do these converters cost?

I prefer the Controller S over the PS2 controller personally, so i have no problems with using it to play GG. I payed $20 for it a couple weeks ago at EB, couldn't find it anywhere else but I hate how the new games are opened already and covered in these nasty stickers that are a pain to get off, but it's worth $20.

Definitely pick up GGX2 for 15 bucks. My current favorite fighting game, I've been thinking about Isuka...but I've heard alot of people say it isn't as good.
