i cant tell on either of them....Bourne Identity says across the top in silver, " Explosive Extended Edition"....and Eternal Sunshine has a silver strip across the top that i can't make out the writing on...doesn't look like a SE though

From my memory I believe the 2 disc edition is the only one available right now at CC for "Goodfellas" but I could be wrong....

As far as "Hellboy" my bets is on the computer system won't allow the 3 disc directors cut to be used in the promotion.

It's called marketing. All that those commercials mean is that Disney won't be producing any more copies. There are still thousands out there in stores and, most likely, in warehouses that have yet to be shipped.

bourne identity "explosive extended" = same as the previous DVD, minus the DTS track but add the atlernate opening. I'll keep my original release DVD very much.

In the past, I have gotten DVD's from Best Buy and Circuit City for 7.50 in 2/15 deals, same with getting single DVD's for 10 bucks in 2/20 deals.

Maybe it just depends on the sale, but I'm pretty sure you can buy one for 7.50, because I've done the same in the past without any problems. Call your local BB and ask to be sure.

I never owned the 1 disc "GoodFellas", luckily. I was at my local Wal-Mart tonight, which is closer to me than CC, and PM'd "Fargo" (sp. ed) and "GoodFellas" (2-disc). Two of my absolute favorites which had previously been released in bare-bones editions. Glad I waited -- on both. :D

I think when Disney places them in "the vault" it means they won't press/manufacture anymore copies, after so-and-so date -- but the stores still have their remaining stock on the shelf to clear out.

I found out that there's a DVD missing from the 2 for $15 sale, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 1. This is the old-school version with 4 never-seen epsiodes on it with the 5 episodes from the first season. I was at BB today, and saw the 2 for $15 tag in front of it with that DVD's sku on it, so I knew this was the right one. I realize it's a little late for anyone else to get it, but I remembered not seeing this or I would've gone out on sunday to get it. It's $10.99, for those that missed it. It's in the Family section of DVD's so you can find it easier. Here's a pic for those of you that want it:
