I've seperated the latest message board posts into two categories with 6 posts each.
Cheap Ass Deals (post from all of the forums from the top section except for Trading)
Gaming, Trading & Everything Else (everything else ;)
Lets see how it works out.

Oh and i think its a great. It helps me keep track of latest deals in the forums and trading and off topic without mixing them all up

I don't know if Request a deal should be under deals. To me that was always like trading.
There is a difference, and I try to move those that actually want to trade.
Requesting a deal is more for trying to get a deal at an actual store.

Sounds good to me, although I went into a bit of shock when I first saw the format. I'll be used to it in a day though, and it's probably for the best. Now I can easily see deals versus non-deal threads.

What would be really cool is if each user could set what forums they see, though I'm sure that's a bit much to ask for at this point in time.

I was actually thinking this exact thing, but I didn't even know if it was possible. I throw my hat into this arena as well.

I like it simply because it slides the focus back onto the deals, which is technically what this site's foundation was built upon. Although, if I could make a small adjustment, I'd move all of the requests, as well as the auction/shopping discussions down into the second list. That way the list on top focuses solely on video game & dvd deals that are presently available.

Whoa, this is a great idea. I don't look through all of the forums, but I definitely do check certain ones everyday. This idea would really help me.
