I'm really itching to get myself a NES. EB and GS are probably out of the question, and they are like 50+ on ebay and theres no guarantee they'll work... I was wondering if anyone else had an idea, or one they'd like to sell.

~edit~

GS has the top loader for 79.99 and the front loader for 59.99... both back ordered. EB only has games and controllers.

Check the Trading forum, I see them going for about $30 in there. Same thing on ebay. Any more than $35 is too much.

I own all three current gen systems and some other classic systems too, make an offer if you see any NES games you want.

I know there was a guy at my flea market selling a top loader plus about 12-15 games I think for 99... but I know that is too expensive...

I got mine from goodwill for 10

Spring is coming soon, yard sales are the best place to pick these up on the cheap. You have to be persistent and have some patience. I have picked up some cool deals in the past 3 years going to them. Most notable:

PSX, and Driving wheel, pedals, $10
NES with controllers, light gun, mario/duck hunt like new, $5
Atari 2600 wooden one, with controllers, paddles, about 10 or so games, $5
Mario Kart 64, Donkey Kong 64, Mario 64, $1 each
tons of random games for a buck or 2 complete

If you have a gamecrazy, they can search thier stores for one. With that service and cost of item, it would be a bit under $50. Upside is you WILL get a NES, the downside is you dont get to see it until it hits that store. i hear they are pretty good about not picking lemons though
