I use Azureus every day, and I've never had a problem. The only thing I can think of is that it uses Java Runtime so make sure you have that installed and its up to date.

Well, Azureus is quite the memory hog compared to ABC. You on a decent PC?

Not to brag, but it's a small god. It can run Doom 3 on high, and half Life 2 at max, with no slowdown. I've been doing a lot more intensive things and never had a crash.

Azureus being a Java program, has the problems of just about any Java program running on Windows. 99% of the time it gives me no problems, but it DOES conflict with some others, and causes crashes or freezes, to my bafflement.
Since you're probably not sure which running or background process it's potentially conflicting with, you're probably better off with a non-Java client (which is a shame, because Azureus is by far my favorite BT program).

I tried that but i got lost and just didnt know what i was doing if someone could help me that will be great. I have zonealarm and a router i dont know if that would interfere with the program. Any help would be awsome.

zonealarm and a router. That's the problem right there. You have to configure Zone Alarm and the router to have the ports work. It varies on what type of router you have to set it up.

Azureus sucks because the Java Virtual Machine sucks. Java's good for webpage applets, not full fledged programs. I much prefer BitTornado...as a whole, it runs much faster.
