I just received an email from MGM announcing a contest for a bunch of Stargate SG-1 material. It's essentially a betting pool to guess the birth date of Amanda Tapping's baby.

I'm horrifed. I cannot remember a studio ever encouraging stalkerish behavior like this. Is there a special circumstance for miscarriage?

That is a bit odd, at least it wasn't a name her baby and win a prize contest, with the winner being chosen at random.
